Abstract

Cette invention concerne un système de fabrication d'un ressort métallique, comprenant une source de fil métallique ; un dispositif de chauffage par induction configuré pour recevoir en continu le fil métallique et chauffer le fil métallique à une température cible lorsque le fil métallique passe à travers le dispositif de chauffage par induction ; et une matrice de formage positionnée en aval du dispositif de chauffage par induction et configurée pour courber le fil métallique en un ressort alors que le fil métallique est encore chaud. L'invention concerne en outre des procédés de production d'un ressort pour un matelas qui comprennent une étape consistant à faire avancer un fil métallique sensiblement continu à travers un dispositif de chauffage de telle sorte qu'une partie du fil métallique sortant du dispositif de chauffage soit à une température supérieure ou égale à une température cible. La partie du fil métallique est ensuite pliée tandis que la partie du fil métallique est à une température supérieure ou égale à la température cible de telle sorte que le ressort obtenu présente une contrainte résiduelle minimale.
