Abstract
耐圧性および耐久性が高い往復動軸用の密封装置を提供する。密封装置は、オイルシール部材とダストシール部材とを備える。オイルシール部材とダストシール部材の各々は、軸孔の内部に配置される剛性環と、剛性環に取り付けられた弾性環とを有しており、弾性環には往復動軸に摺動自在に接触するリップが形成されている。ダストシール部材の剛性環は、オイルシール部材の剛性環に着脱自在に嵌め込まれる。密封装置は、さらに往復動軸の軸線方向に平行な方向においてオイルシール部材の弾性環とダストシール部材の弾性環との間に配置される他の剛性環を備える。この剛性環は、ダストシール部材の剛性環の半径方向内側に形成された凹部に着脱自在に嵌め込まれ、ダストシール部材の弾性環を補強する。
