Description

A fragrance composition, a sterilizing and deodorizing liquid and a sterilizing and deodorizing method using the same.

The present invention relates to an improvement of a fragrance composition that masks a chlorine odor derived from hypochlorous acid.

It is known that weakly acidic hypochlorous acid water has an excellent sterilizing and deodorizing effect, and that effect is maintained even when sprayed into the atmosphere.
Hypochlorous acid is effective for preventing infection such as food poisoning caused by influenza, norovirus, E. coli, etc., and for eliminating the smell of sweat and cigarettes attached to the body, clothes, or car seats.
However, since hypochlorous acid water has a chlorine odor, it is conceivable to mask this chlorine odor with a fragrance.
Reference should be made to Patent Document 1 as a prior document disclosing a technique related to the present invention.

Japanese Patent No. 4558653

However, since hypochlorous acid has a deodorizing effect in the first place, there is a possibility that the fragrance is decomposed by the action of hypochlorous acid and cannot be scented as expected. This also means that hypochlorous acid is consumed by the fragrance decomposition and decreases, and the original sterilizing and deodorizing ability cannot be exhibited.

Therefore, the fragrance used in combination with hypochlorous acid water has excellent durability against hypochlorous acid and does not adversely affect the sterilizing and deodorizing ability of hypochlorous acid. It must be able to give a suitable scent while suppressing the odor of chlorine when sprayed inside.
As a result of intensive studies to achieve this problem, the present inventor has found the following perfume composition.
That is, the fragrance composition of the first aspect of the present invention is
Alcohol: 2-8% by mass
Fragrance ingredient: 0.1-1.0% by mass,
It consists of water and an auxiliary compounded as necessary: the balance,
The said fragrance | flavor component is a fragrance composition characterized by including cineol and menthol.

Here, the blending ratio of cineole and menthol is preferably 56 to 80% by mass: 7.5 to 20% by mass, more preferably when the total mass of the fragrance components contained in the fragrance composition is 100% by mass. The blending ratio is 60 to 70% by mass: 10 to 20% by mass.
Here, both cineole and menthol are stable to hypochlorous acid. As a result, the sterilization and deodorizing function of hypochlorous acid is maintained for a long time. In addition, when cineole and menthol are used together in the above range and sprayed into the atmosphere with hypochlorous acid water, the chlorine odor of hypochlorous acid is masked well, and the attached scent is also different from the user. There is no discomfort.
When the blending ratio of cineole and menthol deviates from the above range, the masking effect on the chlorine odor becomes insufficient, or one of the scents is excessively emphasized and becomes unsuitable as the scent of the indoor space.

Cineol is preferably 1-8 cineol derived from eucalyptus oil.
The menthol can be naturally derived or synthesized from peppermint oil or peppermint oil.
From the above, when the fragrance component is 100 mass% in total mass,
Eucalyptus oil: 70-90% by mass,
Peppermint oil: 25-5% by mass,
Menthol: The remainder is preferred.
By adopting such a blending ratio, the masking effect is sufficiently exhibited, and the attached fragrance becomes more suitable.
It does not inhibit the inclusion of a small amount of unintended fragrance other than the above three types.
More preferable blending ratios of the fragrance components are as follows when the total mass of the fragrance components is 100 mass%.
Eucalyptus oil: 75-85% by mass,
Peppermint oil: 20-7% by mass,
Menthol: the rest

Such a perfume ingredient is dissolved in alcohol and then dispersed in water, preferably purified water.
The blending ratio of alcohol, fragrance component, and water is as follows: alcohol: 2 to 8 mass%, fragrance component: 0.1 to 1.0 mass%, water: balance when the total mass of the fragrance composition is 100 mass% To do.
If the blending ratio of the fragrance components is within the above range, a suitable fragrance can be given to the room when hypochlorous acid water is sprayed while masking the chlorine odor. When the blending amount of the fragrance component is less than 0.1% by mass, the masking effect against the chlorine odor becomes insufficient. On the other hand, if the blending amount of the fragrance component exceeds 1.0 mass%, the fragrance of the fragrance component is excessively emphasized, which is not preferable.
The blending amount of alcohol is 2 to 8% by mass. The alcohol is not particularly limited as long as it can dissolve the fragrance component, and methanol or propanol can be used in addition to ethanol.
Needless to say, the fragrance composition is added with necessary amounts of auxiliary agents such as preservatives, antioxidants, and coloring agents according to the use conditions and purpose of use.

The perfume composition of this invention is prepared as follows.
First, the fragrance component and the alcohol are mixed, added to purified water, and further mixed. Depending on the characteristics of the auxiliary agent, it is mixed with alcohol together with the fragrance component, or mixed with purified water. After such mixing is complete, the solution is filtered to remove insoluble components.

The fragrance composition thus prepared is mixed with hypochlorous acid water by stirring. The blending ratio of the fragrance composition and hypochlorous acid water is appropriately selected in the range of 1: 5 to 1000 (mass ratio), preferably 1: 5 to 20 (mass ratio) depending on the purpose of use and conditions of use. However, the concentration (mass) of hypochlorous acid is set to 10 to 100 ppm.
The environment can be sterilized and deodorized by spraying hypochlorous acid water mixed with the fragrance composition of the present invention into the atmosphere by a known method such as high frequency use. You may spray the hypochlorous acid water and this fragrance | flavor composition independently, maintaining said compounding ratio. In that case, the concentration (mass) of hypochlorous acid contained in all the mist droplets sprayed in the atmosphere is set to 10 to 100 ppm.
