Abstract
This invention is a security method for identifying possible attacks, suicide people or hijacking attempt, which allows identifying physiological behaviour patterns as for example: anxiety, nerves, stress and others, reading internal patterns such as heartbeat, perspiration, levels of temperature, by means of sensory devices and image cameras wirelessly communicated. Furthermore, in order to speed up checking the passengers, the device is provided with an enclosed tunnel, optionally comprising a moving walkway, for more safety during the check.
Description
SECURITY SENSING METHOD FOR AIRPORTS
OBJECT OF THE INVENTION The present invention may be included in the technical field of security devices and data recognition, and it refers to a method identifying, by means of a sensing device, stress, emotional nerve and anxiety signs during the check at the security control of an airport, with the purpose of identifying possible threats by means of a sensory object and an image camera.
For that purpose, the method is defined by a system that parametrizes the normal or acceptable signs at a determined moment, with the purpose of making possible calculations that help identify physiological changes in the person being out of the ordinary state which warn about a possible attack, and thus achieving prevention thereof.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The security systems at airports are generally focused on the search for electrical or metallic artefacts which may be used for violating security and perpetrate a terrorist attack. On the contrary, the method of the invention uses, additionally to existing metal detector and electrical devices, a device detecting patterns of nervous state, stress and perspiration in a passenger before reaching the plane, with the purpose of identifying if they can threaten airport security.
Physiological sensors are known in the current state of the art and are used in different areas. For example, for sport people to realize a control of parameters such as heartbeats and others, in the medical area so as to monitor the vital signs of patients. The invention combines this already existing technology, using it for identifying changes in heart, stress, nerves
and anxiety physiological states produced by neuronal currents acting to external situations of extreme pressure.
As well as the sensory device this method comprises software which sends the parameters, so as to compare with the information it receives from the sensors, wirelessly to a technological station in order to determine if there are considerable and determinant changes in the physiological patterns already established as normal, for a warning alert emission and the preventive isolation of the passenger.
DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
The present invention consists of a method managing a sensor device being temporarily linked to a passenger body, preferably while they are interviewed by the security unit, for monitoring possible changes in physiological patterns such as heartbeat, anxiety, perspiration and stress. Likewise, a camera takes an image of the passenger to analyse. This information is sent wirelessly to a control device provided with a data base storing standard parameters, which verifies and compares the received data with those being stored.
The passenger must pass through a tunnel made of a material which allows free-flowing wireless communication without environmental disruption. Once the data are received and there is no alteration to what has been pre- established or they are with normal ranges, the passenger will have free access through the tunnel until finishing the check and going aboard their plane.
Otherwise, that is, in case there is a possibility of an alert due to a deviation with respect to the standard parameters, a warning signal is emitted to alert the security entity.
DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
Fig. 1 .- It shows a schematic view of the elements of the security device. Fig. 2.- It shows a detailed view of one of the belts of the device.
PREFERRED EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION
The following is a detailed description, with the help of the figures referred above, of an exemplary preferred embodiment of the device object of the present invention.
Figure 1 shows schematically the components being part of the method and device of the invention. In a security control of the airport, an individual intending to have access to a plane is temporarily placed a belt (1 ) fitted with a plurality of sensors (2) and at least one wireless data emitter (3), as it can be seen in figure 2.
The individual, with the belt associated to their anatomy and the sensors (2) monitoring physiological parameters such as temperature, heart rhythm or perspiration, proceeds then into a tunnel (4), at the entrance of which a camera (5) takes an image of said individual. A moving walkway (6) provides for an easy transit of the individual. The data collected by the sensors (2) and the camera (5) are wirelessly transmitted to a control device (7) provided with a data base with stored standard parameters, which verifies and compares all the received data with those being stored.
