Abstract

L'invention concerne un alliage d'aluminium pour des applications automobiles, une bande en alliage d'aluminium fabriquée dans l'alliage d'aluminium selon l'invention, ainsi qu'un élément en tôle de la carrosserie d'un véhicule automobile. L'invention vise à proposer pour des applications automobiles un alliage d'aluminium qui puisse être transformé en une bande par un procédé comprenant les étapes classiques, de sorte que la bande produite ne présente pour un niveau de résistance modéré qu'une faible tendance au durcissement à partir de l'état T4, et qu'il est possible de l'utiliser dans le domaine de la protection des piétons en cas de collision. Cet objectif est atteint en ce que l'alliage d'aluminium présente les composants d'alliage suivants, en pourcentage en poids : Si ≥ 0.4 % en poids et ≤ 0,55 % en poids, Fe ≥ 0,15 % en poids et ≤ 0,25 % en poids, Cu ≤ 0,06 % en poids, Mn ≥ 0,15 % en poids et ≤ 0,4 % en poids, Mg ≥ 0,33 % en poids et ≤ 0,4 % en poids, Cr ≤ 0,03 % en poids, Ti ≥ 0,01 % en poids et ≤ 0,10 % en poids ; un reste AI et les impuretés inévitables, pour au plus 0,05 % en poids individuellement et au plus 0,15 % en poids au total.
