Abstract
The present invention relates to a cooker device (1) comprising a cooking chamber (2) in which the items to be cooked are placed, a body (3) shaped as a box with an open front, surrounding the cooking chamber (2), a door (4) enabling access to the cooking chamber (2), a handle (5) enabling opening and closing of the door (4), a heat sensor (6) provided in the cooking chamber (2), and a control unit (7) enabling controlling of cooking process according to the data received from the heat sensor (6).
Description
The present invention relates to a cooker device comprising a handle.
In ovens, cooking is generally performed by the heaters and the fan provided in the cooking chamber operating together. The hot air heated by the heaters provided in the ceiling, base or the rear wall of the cooking chamber, is distributed inside the cooking chamber by means of the fan. Cooking is performed at a temperature value selected by the user in the beginning of cooking process.
Electronically controlled cooker devices comprising a digital screen, known in the art are commonly used. In cooker devices of such type, the users select the cooking temperature through the digital screen. It is necessary for the users to use the digital screen again to control whether the cooking chamber has reached the selected temperature during cooking. However, making said control from the menus provided on the digital screen makes the use of cooker device difficult for the user. In addition, there can be errors in perception depending on the seeing capability of the user and the size of the digital screen.
State of the art Japanese patent application no. JPS593517 defines a cooker device comprising a heat sensor.
The aim of the present invention is to realize a cooker device providing ease of use.
The cooker device realized to achieve the aim of the present invention and disclosed in the first claim and the dependent claims, comprises a cooking chamber in which the items to be cooked are placed, a body shaped as a box with an open front, surrounding the cooking chamber, a door enabling access to the cooking chamber, a handle enabling opening and closing of the door, a heat sensor provided in the cooking chamber, and a control unit enabling controlling of cooking process according to the data received from the heat sensor.
The cooker device of the invention comprises,
- a display provided on the handle, and
- a control unit enabling transmission of the data received from the heat sensor to the display.
The temperature value measured by the heat sensor is transmitted to the display, enabling the user to control the temperature in the cooking chamber through the handle without requiring the user to control the digital display during cooking process. The user is thus enabled to monitor cooking process more easily during cooking process.
In an embodiment of the invention, the cooker device comprises a plurality of piercings provided on the display, showing temperature values different from each other, and an electronic card provided in the handle having at least one light source corresponding to each piercing. The piercings provided on the display are composed of numbers showing the temperature values presented for user selection in the cooker device. The user is given information about cooking process by illuminating the piercing corresponding to the related temperature value upon the temperature measured in the cooking chamber reaching said temperature value.
In another embodiment of the invention, the control unit, compares the temperature value measured by the heat sensor with the temperature value selected by the user. The control unit controls whether the cooking chamber has reached the selected temperature value by comparing the temperature value measured by the heat sensor with the temperature value selected by the user.
In another embodiment of the invention, the control unit, energizes the light source corresponding to the piercing showing the selected temperature value upon the temperature value measured by the heat sensor reaching the temperature value selected by the user. The control unit controls the light sources so as to illuminate only the piercing on which the related temperature value is shown, upon the temperature value measured by the heat sensor reaching the temperature value selected by the user. The user is thus warned about the cooking chamber reaching the desired temperature value.
In another embodiment of the invention, the control unit, energizes in determined time intervals the light source corresponding to the piercing showing the selected temperature value, if the temperature value measured by the heat sensor is lower than the temperature value selected by the user. The control unit enables warning the user about whether the cooking chamber has reached the temperature value selected by the user by illuminating the piercing showing the selected temperature value by a blinking light until the measured temperature value reaches the temperature value selected by the user.
In another embodiment of the invention, the cooker device comprises a light bearer provided in the handle, in which the electronic card is placed. The light bearer comprising a separator preferably provided between each piercing, enables conveyance of the light originating from the light source only to the related piercing corresponding to the light source by focusing. The related piercing is thus illuminated by a more radiant light. The light bearer comprises at least one opening corresponding to each piercing.
In another embodiment of the invention, the cooker device comprises a cable connection provided between the electronic card and the control unit. The control unit controls the electronic card by means of the cable connection.

The cooker device (1) comprises a cooking chamber (2) in which the items to be cooked are placed, a body (3) shaped as a box with an open front, surrounding the cooking chamber (2), a door (4) enabling access to the cooking chamber (2), a handle (5) enabling opening and closing of the door (4), a heat sensor (6) provided in the cooking chamber (2), and a control unit (7) enabling controlling of cooking according to the data received from the heat sensor (6) (Figure 1 and Figure 3).
The cooker device (1) of the invention comprises,
- a display (8) provided on the handle, and
- the control unit (7) enabling transmission of the data received from the heat sensor (6) to the display (8).
The user is enabled to monitor the temperature in the cooking chamber (2) during cooking process through the handle (5) by transmitting the temperature value (T0) measured by the heat sensor (6) to the display (8).
In an embodiment of the invention, the cooker device (1) comprises a plurality of piercings (9) provided on the display (8), showing temperature values different from each other, and an electronic card (11) provided in the handle (5) having at least one light source (10) corresponding to each piercing (9). The temperature values presented for user selection in the cooker device (1) are provided on each one of the piercings (9) provided on the display (8). The electronic card (11) on which the light sources (10) preferably comprising LED illuminators, are positioned, are arranged in the space inside the handle (5) so that each light source (10) corresponds to one piercing (9). When the light source (10) is energized, the piercing (9) corresponding to the related light source (10) is illuminated.
In another embodiment of the invention, the control unit (7), compares the temperature value (T0) measured by the heat sensor (6) with the temperature value (Tset) selected by the user. The control unit (7) controls whether the cooking chamber (2) has reached the selected temperature value (Tset) by comparing the temperature value (T0) measured by the heat sensor (6) with the temperature value (Tset) selected by the user. In this embodiment, the control unit (7) enables the user to control the temperature value (Tset) selected by the user through the handle (5) by energizing the light source (10) corresponding to the piercing (9) showing the selected temperature value (Tset).
In another embodiment of the invention, the control unit (7), enables energizing the light source (10) corresponding to the piercing (9) showing the selected temperature value (Tset) upon the temperature value (T0) measured by the heat sensor (6) reaching the temperature value (Tset) selected by the user. The control unit (7) enables displaying the user the selected temperature value (Tset) in an illuminated manner on the handle (5) by energizing the light source (10) corresponding to the piercing (9) showing the temperature value (Tset) selected by the user, upon the measured temperature value (T0) reaching the temperature value (Tset) selected by the user. By this, the user is enabled to control the selected temperature value (Tset) through the handle (5), and is also given information that the temperature in the cooking chamber (2) has reached the selected temperature value (Tset). The usage of the cooker device (1) is thus facilitated by enabling the user to monitor the cooking process more conveniently.
In another embodiment of the invention, the control unit (7) enables energizing in determined time intervals the light source (10) corresponding to the piercing (9) showing the selected temperature value (Tset), if the temperature value (T0) measured by the heat sensor (6) is lower than the temperature value (Tset) selected by the user. The control unit enables energizing in determined time intervals the light source (10) corresponding to the piercing (9) showing the temperature value (Tset) selected by the user, until the measured temperature value (T0) reaches the temperature value (Tset) selected by the user. Thus, the piercing (9) showing the selected temperature value (Tset) is illuminated by a light blinking intermittently. By this, the user is enabled to control the selected temperature value (Tset) through the handle (5), and is also given information that the temperature in the cooking chamber (2) has not yet reached the selected temperature value (Tset).
In another embodiment of the invention, the cooker device (1) comprises a light bearer (12) provided in the handle (5), in which the electronic card (11) is placed. The light originating from the light source (10) is conveyed directly to the piercing (9) corresponding to the light source (10) by means of the light bearer (12). The light originating from the light source (10) is thus prevented from being dispersed in the handle (5) and reaching other piercings (9). By this, customer satisfaction is improved by enabling the user to determine the illuminated piercing (9) more conveniently.
In another embodiment of the invention, the cooker device (1) comprises a cable connection (13) provided between the electronic card (11) and the control unit (7). The cable connection (5) coming out of the handle (5), is conveyed from the door (4) to the body (3) and is connected to the control unit (7). The light sources (10) energized according to the data received from the heat sensor (6), are effectively controlled by means of the cable connection (13).
In the cooking device (1) of the invention, the cooking chamber (2) temperature is effectively disclosed to the user by means of a control method executed by the control unit (7) comprising the steps of,
- Measuring the temperature of the cooking chamber (2) by means of the heat sensor (6),
- Comparing the measured temperature value (T0) with the temperature value (Tset) selected by the user,
- Energizing in determined time intervals the light source (10) corresponding to the piercing (9) showing the temperature value (Tset) selected by the user, if the measured temperature value (T0) is lower than the selected temperature value (Tset), and
- Continuously energizing the light source (10) corresponding to the piercing (9) showing the temperature value (Tset) selected by the user, upon the measured temperature value (T0) reaching the selected temperature value (Tset).
In the cooking device of the invention (1), the cooking temperature selected by the user and the temperature information measured in the cooking chamber, are transmitted to the user through a display (8) provided on the handle (5). The user is thus enabled to conveniently monitor the cooking process through the handle (5).
Claims (8)
- A cooker device (1) comprising a cooking chamber (2) in which the items to be cooked are placed, a body (3) shaped as a box with an open front, surrounding the cooking chamber (2), a door (4) enabling access to the cooking chamber (2), a handle (5) enabling opening and closing of the door (4), a heat sensor (6) provided in the cooking chamber (2), and a control unit (7) enabling controlling of cooking process according to the data received from the heat sensor (6), characterized by,- a display (8) provided on the handle, and by- the control unit (7) enabling transmission of the data received from the heat sensor (6) to the display (8).
- A cooker device (1) according to claim 1, characterized by a plurality of piercings (9) provided on the display (8), showing temperature values different from each other, and by an electronic card (11) provided in the handle (5) having at least one light source (10) corresponding to each piercing (9).
- A cooker device (1) according to any one of claims 1 or 2, characterized by the control unit (7) comparing the temperature value (T0) measured by the heat sensor (6) with the temperature value (Tset) selected by the user.
- A cooker device (1) according to claim 3, characterized by the control unit (7) enabling energizing the light source (10) corresponding to the piercing (9) showing the selected temperature value (Tset) upon the temperature value (T0) measured by the heat sensor (6) reaching temperature value (Tset) selected by the user.
- A cooker device (1) according to claim 3, characterized by the control unit (7) enabling energizing in determined time intervals the light source (10) corresponding to the piercing (9) showing the selected temperature value (Tset), if the temperature value (T0) measured by the heat sensor (6) is lower than the temperature value(Tset) selected by the user.
- A cooker device (1) according to any one of claims 2 to 5, characterized by a light bearer (12) provided in the handle (5), in which the electronic card (11) is placed.
- A cooker device (1) according to any one of claims 2 to 6, characterized by a cable connection (13) provided between the electronic card (11) and the control unit (7).
- A control method for a cooking device (1) according to any one of claims 2 to 7, characterized by the steps of- Measuring the temperature of the cooking chamber (2) by means of the heat sensor (6),- Comparing the measured temperature value (T0) with the temperature value (Tset) selected by the user,- Energizing in determined time intervals the light source (10) corresponding to the piercing (9) showing the temperature value (Tset) selected by the user, if the measured temperature value (T0) is lower than the selected temperature value (Tset), and- Continuously energizing the light source (10) corresponding to the piercing (9) showing the temperature value (Tset) selected by the user, upon the measured temperature value (T0) reaching the selected temperature value (Tset).
