Below, first, the manufacturing method of the light-emitting body which has the color conversion composition which concerns on embodiment of this invention is demonstrated, Then, the manufacturing method of the light-emitting body which has the color conversion sheet which concerns on embodiment of this invention is demonstrated. In addition, each manufacturing method demonstrated below is an example, and the manufacturing method of the light-emitting body which concerns on embodiment of this invention is not restricted to these.
- the manufacturing method of the light-emitting body which has the color conversion composition which concerns on embodiment of this invention is demonstrated.
- the above-described color conversion composition is used to form a light emitter by forming a color conversion layer by a dispensing method. Specifically, first, a reflector 3 is provided on the substrate 2 by a known method, and an LED element 4 (LED chip) is mounted in a recess formed on the substrate 2 by the reflector 3, and the substrate 2 and the LED element are mounted. 4 is wired.

- the LED element 4 has an electrode pad on the opposite surface of the light emitting surface, that is, when the LED element 4 is a flip chip type LED element, the electrode surface of the LED element 4 is opposed to the circuit wiring of the substrate 2. - the injected color conversion composition is heated to form a color conversion layer (for example, one type of color conversion layer 6 or two types of color conversion layers 6a and 6b) in the recess.
- the color conversion layer 6 is formed as illustrated in FIG. 4C, and then a known sealing material (transparent resin) is dispensed on the color conversion layer 6 and thermally cured.
- the resin layer 8 may be formed. Alternatively, as illustrated in FIGS.
- one type of color conversion layer 6 or two types of color conversion layers 6a and 6b are formed, and these color conversion layers 6 or color conversion layers 6a and 6b are encapsulating resin layers. It may also serve as a function.

- the substrate 2 in a state where the color conversion composition is injected into the recesses is allowed to stand in a vacuum atmosphere, and moisture dissolved in the color conversion composition.
- the step of removing oxygen is also preferably carried out.
- the thermosetting process of these color conversion compositions and the sealing transparent resin may be performed in the air or in an inert gas atmosphere such as nitrogen.
- the manufacturing method of the light-emitting body which has the color conversion sheet which concerns on embodiment of this invention uses a color conversion sheet containing the above-described color conversion composition as a color conversion layer to manufacture a light emitting body.
- the manufacturing method of the light emitter includes roughly three steps. The first step is an individualization step for individualizing the color conversion sheet. The second step is a pickup step for picking up the color conversion sheet that has been separated. The third step is a pasting step in which the picked-up color conversion sheet (separated by the individualizing step) is attached to the blue LED light source.
- the manufacturing method of this light-emitting body may include the other process as needed.
- FIG. 6 is a process diagram showing an example of a method for producing a light emitter having a color conversion sheet according to an embodiment of the present invention.
- the color conversion sheet can be singulated by a method such as punching with a mold, processing with a laser, or cutting with a blade.
- processing by laser imparts high energy to the color conversion layer of the color conversion sheet, so that the resin (for example, resin (B)) in the color conversion layer is burnt or an organic light emitting material (for example, organic). It is very difficult to avoid the deterioration of the light emitting material (A)). Therefore, cutting with a blade is desirable as a method for dividing the color conversion sheet.
- the color conversion sheet 1 is a sheet in which the color conversion layer 6 is formed on the base material layer 10.
- the color conversion sheet 1 is cut into a desired size by the blade 12 (state S1).
- the color conversion layer 6 and the base material layer 10 of the color conversion sheet 1 are separated into a plurality of pieces and processed into individual pieces 13 having a desired size (state S2).
- the individual sheet 13 is a laminate of the base material layer 10 separated into pieces and the color conversion layer 6 separated into pieces.
- the cutting method using the blade 12 includes a method of cutting a target object by pushing a simple blade, and a method of cutting a target object by a rotary blade, both of which can be suitably used.
- a device for cutting the color conversion sheet 1 with a rotary blade a device called a dicer used for cutting (dicing) a semiconductor substrate into individual chips can be suitably used. If the dicer is used, the width of the dividing line of the color conversion sheet 1 can be precisely controlled by the thickness of the rotary blade and the condition setting, so that higher processing accuracy can be obtained than cutting the color conversion sheet 1 by pushing a simple blade. .
- the color conversion sheet 1 may be cut so that the color conversion layer 6 is singulated together with the base material layer 10. Alternatively, the base layer 10 may not be cut while the color conversion layer 6 is singulated. Under the present circumstances, it is preferable to perform what is called a half cut with respect to the base material layer 10 in which the notch line which does not penetrate enters.
- the color conversion sheet 1 may be subjected to perforation processing of the color conversion layer 6 before or after the individualization step or simultaneously with the individualization step.
- perforation processing a known method such as laser processing or punching with a mold can be suitably used.
- laser processing causes scorching of the resin in the color conversion layer 6 and deterioration of the organic light emitting material
- the mold is used. Punching by is more desirable. When punching with a mold is performed, after the individual sheet 13 is attached to the LED element, punching of the individual sheet 13 on the color conversion layer 6 or the like is impossible. It is necessary to punch the color conversion sheet 1 or the individual sheet 13 before the sheet 13 is attached. Punching with a mold can open a hole of any shape or size in the color conversion layer 6 or the like according to the electrode shape of the LED element to which the individual sheet 13 is attached.
- any size and shape of the hole can be formed by designing a mold.
- the electrode joint portions on the LED elements inside and outside the 1 mm square are desirably 200 ⁇ m or less so as not to reduce the area of the light emitting surface. Therefore, the hole is formed with a size of 200 ⁇ m or less in accordance with its size.
- an electrode pad on which wire bonding or the like is performed needs to have a certain size, and has a size (length, width, etc.) of at least about 50 ⁇ m. For this reason, it is desirable that the hole be formed to have a size of about 50 ⁇ m in accordance with its size.
- the color conversion sheet 1 (that is, the individual sheet 13) separated by the individualization process described above is picked up by a pickup process that is the next process of the individualization process.
- a pickup process that is the next process of the individualization process.
- the individual sheet 13 is picked up by a pickup device (not shown) provided with a suction device such as a collet 14 (state S3).
- the individual sheet 13 picked up by the pickup process described above is attached to the blue LED light source by the attaching process which is the next process of the pickup process.
- the individual sheet 13 is in a state of being picked up by the collet 14.
- the collet 14 is conveyed together with the individual sheet 13 to the position of the LED element 15 (an example of a blue LED light source) mounted on the substrate 2 (specifically, in the concave portion by the reflector 3).
- the surface opposite to the forming surface (light extraction surface) and the bonding surface of the individual sheet 13 are made to face each other.
- the collet 14 presses and adheres the adhesive surface of the individual sheet 13 to the light extraction surface of the LED element 15 (state S4).

- this adhesive a well-known die bond agent and an adhesive agent can be used.
- an adhesive of acrylic resin, epoxy resin, urethane resin, silicone resin, modified silicone resin, phenol resin, polyimide resin, polyvinyl alcohol resin, polymethacrylate resin, melamine resin, and urea resin can be used.
- the color conversion layer or the base material layer (base material layer in the example of the state S4) of the individual sheet 13 has adhesiveness, the individual sheet 13 and the LED element 15 are pasted using this adhesiveness. May be.
- the individual sheet 13 when the individual sheet 13 is a color conversion sheet in a semi-cured state, the individual sheet 13 and the LED element 15 may be pasted by using the curing of the individual sheet 13 by heating. .
- the color conversion layer of the individual sheet 13 has heat softening properties after curing, the color conversion layer of the individual sheet 13 and the LED element 15 are bonded by heat fusion of the color conversion layer. It is also possible to do.
- the pasting step is a step of heating the individual sheet 13 and pasting it on the LED element 15
- this pasting step is performed in the air
- a bubble is bitten between the LED element 15 and the individual sheet 13. May be included.
- light is diffusely reflected at the interface between the bubble and the LED element 15 and at the interface between the bubble and the individual sheet 13.
