Definitions

  • the invention relates to a furniture panel which has a surface coated with a film-like decorative material on at least one side and has a miter edge whose edge surface forms an acute angle ⁇ with the coated surface.
  • Such furniture panels are used for example as side walls or as a top or bottom floors of furniture and usually have a core of a wood material, such as chipboard or MDF.
  • the decorative material is often wood veneers, but often also plastic films or other sheet materials such as leather pulp.
