Abstract
Description
また、トリペンタエリスリトールの含有量が10質量%以下(好ましくは8質量%以下)であることにより、R-32冷媒との相溶性が高く、R-32冷媒を使用する機器における高温での運転にも耐えうる高い熱安定性を有する冷凍機油用エステルを得ることが出来る。
(合成方法)
ジペンタエリスリトールとトリペンタエリスリトールは、広栄化学工業社製「D-PE」、「T-PE」を用いた。n-ペンタン酸、2-メチルブタン酸は、東京化成工業社製試薬を用いて合成した。
得られた冷凍機油用エステル1gに0.5NのKOHエタノール溶液を10mL加え、80℃で8時間ケン化分解を行った。過剰量の塩酸を加えて得られた試料を中和した後、ヘキサン40mLとイオン交換水20mLを加えて攪拌し、静置・分層した。
酸価: JIS K-0070に準拠して測定した。
全酸価: JIS C-2101に準拠して測定した。
水酸基価: JIS K-0070に準拠して測定した。
(動粘度)
JIS K-2283に準拠して測定した。
(2層分離温度)
JIS K-2211に準拠し、R-32冷媒と冷凍機油用エステルの質量比が8:2となる条件で、低温領域での2層分離温度を測定した。得られた分離温度について、下記の基準に従い評価した。
◎:-35℃以下であるもの。
○:-35℃を越え-30℃以下であるもの。
△:-30℃を越え-20℃以下であるもの。
×:-20℃を越えるもの。
肉厚パイレックス(登録商標)チューブ(全長300mm、外経10mm、内径6mm)に予め水分量を約1000ppmに調整した冷凍機油用エステルを2g、冷媒R-32を3g、及び長さ10mmの鉄、銅、およびアルミの金属片を各1枚ずつ封入し、封管した。これを200℃にて10日間加熱した後、開封して冷媒を抜き取り、JIS C-2101に準拠して酸価を測定した。得られた酸価について、下記の基準に従い評価した。
◎:0.05mgKOH/g以下であるもの。
○:0.05mgKOH/gを越え0.1mgKOH/g以下であるもの。
△:0.1mgKOH/gを越え0.15mgKOH/g以下であるもの。
×:0.15mgKOH/gを越えるもの。
Falex試験ピン摩耗量:
ASTM D-2670に準拠して、冷凍機油用エステル中にR-32冷媒を150ml/分の割合で吹き込みつつ、Falex摩耗試験を行った。試料温度を100℃とし、150ポンドの荷重で1分間ならし運転した後に、300ポンドの荷重のもとで1時間運転し、運転終了後のピンの摩耗量を測定した。得られたピン摩耗量について、下記の基準に従い評価した。
◎:8.0mg以下であるもの。
○:8.0mgを越え10.0mg以下であるもの。
△:10.0mgを越え13.0mg以下であるもの。
×:13.0mgを越えるもの。
上記の評価結果を表2にまとめた。
比較例2では、ジペンタエリスリトールの比率が低いが、耐熱性が劣る。
比較例3では、n-ペンタン酸の比率が低いが、潤滑性が劣る。
比較例4では、n-ペンタン酸の比率が高いが、耐熱性が劣り、また低温側での2層分離温度が高い。
Claims (2)
- ジペンタエリスリトールとトリペンタエリスリトールの質量比が90/10~99.7/0.3である混合アルコールと、n-ペンタン酸と2-メチルブタン酸の質量比が50/50~80/20である混合モノカルボン酸とのエステルからなり、40℃における動粘度が50~150mm2/sであることを特徴とする、冷凍機油用エステル。
- 請求項1記載の冷凍機油用エステル、およびR-32冷媒を含有することを特徴とする、冷凍機用作動流体組成物。
