Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de pré-traitement de biomasse lignocellulosique pour la production d'hydrates de carbone et d'autres sous-produits, réalisé en deux étapes, dont l'une au moins fait intervenir un additif azoté, notamment un carbamide, dans un procédé hydrothermique permettant une récupération maximale de sucres à partir des hémicelluloses et de la cellulose, avec une dégradation minimale des sucres disponibles, de manière à produire des hydrates de carbone qui peuvent être convertis en biocombustibles et en produits chimiques, tels que l'éthanol, le butanol et une pluralité de produits d'intérêt industriel, par l'intermédiaire de voies chimiques et biochimiques.
