Abstract

The invention relates to a device comprising a central element (2) from which the following elements extend: a first cable section (2) which has a means for attaching to an anchoring point on its free end; and a second cable section (6) which has a means for attaching to a tool-holding means (8) on its free end, where at least one of the cable sections (2), (6) is retractable along the length thereof, i.e. it can be extended from the central element (1), increasing the length thereof, and can be returned into the central element.
