Definitions

  • the invention relates to storm sewers and is intended for local (point) collection and drainage of rain and melt water from ground pavements, by connecting storm water inlets through sewer pipes with a rain sewer system. Connection to the storm water inlet of drainage pipelines is allowed. Storm water inlets can also be used to drain rainwater from the roofs of houses in case they are connected to drainpipes. Thus, in order to reduce the nomenclature of stormwater drainage elements, the design of storm water inlets should be able to incorporate various options for incorporation into stormwater drainage systems.
