Abstract
A microwave rice cooker comprises a cooker lid (1) and a cooker body (2). The cooker lid (1) and cooker body (2) are metal components. The cooker body (2) is coated with a microwave absorbing and heating layer (3) at outside of the cooker body (2), and comprises a rice cooker handle (4) arranged along an edge surrounding the cooker body (2). A snap fastener (5) is movably provided at a top surface of the handle (4), and a snap-fit protruding portion (6) is provided on the cooker lid (1) and corresponds to the snap fastener (5). An air releasing valve (7) is provided on the cooker lid (1) and configured to communicate with inside of the cooker body (2). A cooker lid handle (8) is provided on the cooker lid (1). The microwave absorbing and heating layer (3) coated at the outside of the cooker body (2) is configured to absorb microwave radiation and heat up, and pass heat energy to the inside of the cooker body (2). Rice and water can be put into the rice cooker, and subsequently, the rice cooker can be put into a microwave oven for heating and cooking the rice.
