Description
"ENHANCEMENT IN MOBILE SHELTER FOR DOGS "
[ 1 ] This descriptive report refers to an application for patent of a utility model for a structure developed to provide shelter and comfort to dogs, also facilitating the required care by the owner in order to provide welfare of the animal. The shelter has a base with casters on which detachable grid fences with gate are extended, connected to a cabinet with front and side drawers. The structure can receive a ladder connected to the cabinet, by forming a mezzanine with mattress, and its floor accommodates water and food bowls, in addition to tray with granulated material to receive urine and feces. A heater is installed in one of the cabinet's drawers, and the other drawers store objects to be used with the animal, such as bath towels, shampoo and others, in addition to food bags, collars, medicaments, etc. The rear grid fence receives a wind protection panel, which can be relocated by supports, protecting the animal that sleeps on the mattress.
STATE OF THE ART
[2] Especially in big cities, there is a trend for awareness of respect and protection of animals, whether they are domestic or wild, which have equal rights for preserving their lives and receiving care and cautions. In regard to domestic dogs, for example, the affection of the owners is inevitable, and consequently the concerns increase in terms of supervision by veterinarians for baths, grooming, diagnostics and search for more balanced foods and other measures that were not even considered in the older times.
[3 ] Dogs in houses usually have their own space, whether in boxes, "small houses" covered with roof, walls and bottom, with an opening to enter and exit the house, as can be seen, for example, in the patent document BR 8001178, of 11.201 1 deposited with the title "SHELTERING HOUSES FOR DOGS", formed by a mountable structure with floor and walls.
[4] Anyway, an optimal situation is one that provides suitable space for sleeping, eating or meeting their physiological needs with tranquility, without interfering in the domestic activities of their owners.
PURPOSE OF THE PATENT
[5] The author of the present application for patent of utility model developed a mobile shelter that provides exactly to the animal, more specifically to dogs, greater protection and comfort in an environment that can be heated to supporting conditions of colder temperatures, protected against winds and that can be relocated, thus enabling that the animal sleeps, eats and satisfies its physiological needs, as well as providing to the owner space to store bath supplies, medicaments, collars and other obj ects in an organized and compact way.
[6] After this brief explanation, the mobile shelter is better detailed by the attached drawings, where we can see:
[7] Figure 1 - perspective view showing the base with casters, floor, front grid fence with gate, side grid fence, rear grid fence, cabinet with front drawers and side compartments, heater irradiation screen and wind protection panel mounted in its recessed position;
[8] Figure 2 - Front view showing the top upper drawer of the cabinet totally removed, in addition to the side cabinet with its door open showing the compartments, with the heater installed in the top compartment;
[9] Figure 3 - Rear view, showing the rail embedded in the front grid fence, on which the shelter 's entrance gate slides. The gate was displaced by the rail, and is in its open position;
[ 10] Figure 4 - Exploded view, showing the base with casters, floor, cabinet in one side, and the front, rear and opposite side grid fences, gate and embedded rail with its respective guide;
[ 1 1 ] Figure 5 - Front view, showing a situation in the shelter. This view shows the base without front and side grid fences, wind protection panel positioned by the lower claws on the upper portion of the rear grid fence, so as to provide natural ventilation to the animal that sleeps on the mattress placed close to the inner (side) wall of the cabinet, and the water and food bowls and the urine/feces tray positioned close to the rear grid fence;
[ 12] Figure 6 - Front view, showing another possible environment,
where a ladder or ramp is arranged along the rear grid fence and extended as a mezzanine close to the inner wall of the cabinet, receiving a mattress to accommodate the dog and close to the heater irradiation screen to keep it warmed and protected by the wind protection panel mounted on the rear grid fence;
[ 13] Figure 7 - Front view of the shelter showing the wind protection panel mounted on the rear grid fence and supported by the lower claws, and the side and front grid fences closed;
[ 14] Figure 8 - Right side view of figure 7;
[ 15] Figure 9 - Left side view of figure 7;
[ 16] Figure 1 0 - Rear view showing the optional shelter assembly without wind protection panel;
[17] In compliance with the drawings attached herein, the "ENHANCEMENT IN MOBILE SHELTER FOR DOGS ", obj ect of this application for invention patent, is comprised by one base ( 1 ) with casters (2), which has two pulling handles (3) close to its side edges. The base ( 1 ) receives a removable floor plate (4), delimited by the front grid fence (5) with gate (6) equipped with guide (7), and one embedded rail (7a), in addition to one side grid fence (8), both of them removable. The rear grid fence (9) is fixed, while that in the opposite side, the shelter receives closure by a cabinet ( 10) with front drawers ( 1 1 ) and their pullers ( 12), and also a side door (13) with shelves ( 14) forming inner compartments (15), as shown in figure 2, and at the upper compartment height ( 15 a) the cabinet ( 1 0) receives in its inner part ( 1 6) a heat irradiation screen ( 17) for operation of a heater (H), optional. The rear fixed grid fence (9) receives a wind protection panel ( 1 8), provided in one of its faces with a pair of upper claws ( 19) and on the opposite face a pair of lower claws (20), as shown in figures 1 , 5 , 6, 7, 8 and 9.
[18] The cabinet ( 10) can store in its drawers (1 1 ) and compartments ( 15) obj ects related to the dog, such as soap, medicaments, collar, food bag and others, and the upper compartment (1 5a) can optionally house a heater (H).
[ 19] On the removable floor (4), close to the inner wall ( 16) of the
cabinet (10), a mattress (C) can be placed to accommodate the animal (A), while close to the rear fixed grid fence (9), food and water bowls (T) and a bowl with granulated material (B) to receive urine and feces can be placed, as shown especially in figures 5 and 6.
[20] The shelter can also receive a ladder (21 ), which is extended along the referred rear fixed grid fence (9), forming a mezzanine (22) in its top portion, close to the inner wall ( 16) of the cabinet ( 10), as shown in figure 6.
[21 ] Thus, the shelter can provide diversified environments, whether with grid fences (6) and (8) fixed and the gate (7) closed, as shown in figures 2, 7, 8 and 10, or with the referred grid fences (6) and (8) removed, as shown in figures 5 and 6. The shelter can have its rear grid fence (9) totally protected by supporting on its upper edge the upper claws ( 19) of the wind protection panel ( 1 8), as illustrated in figure 1 , or partially protected when the wind protection panel ( 1 8) is supported by its lower claws ( 16), as illustrated in figures 5 , 6, 7, 8 and 9. In this case, the lower portion of the shelter is ventilated, while the mezzanine (22) is optionally heated by the heater (H) via heat irradiation screen (17) and protected by the wind protection panel ( 18), as shown especially in figure 6.
