Abstract

A method for communicating with an athlete who is waiting to participate in a sporting contest comprises the steps of a) providing eyewear such that it is worn by the athlete, the eyewear being adapted to receive and display data; and b) causing, via a computer system, data relating to the spo1iing contest to be transmitted to the eyewear such that it is received by the eyewear and displayed to the athlete before he or she plays in the sporting contest.
