Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de vérification de l'authenticité d'une caractéristique de sécurité (8) qui est disposée sur un document (6). Un poste de vérification génère un signal de vérification et le transmet au moyen d'un réseau de transmission à un système de sortie de signaux. Le dispositif de sortie de signaux émet le signal de vérification vers la caractéristique de sécurité (8) qui, à partir du signal de vérification, génère et délivre un signal de réaction. Le signal de réaction est reçu par un dispositif de réception de signaux et est transmis au poste de vérification au moyen du réseau de transmission. Le poste de vérification décide, sur la base du signal de vérification et du signal de réaction, de l'authenticité de la caractéristique de sécurité (8).
