Abstract

【課題】装置の大型化、コストの高騰を伴うことなく、内燃機関における空燃比を改善できる点火装置を提供する。表面を電磁波が伝播する中心導体と、中心導体を包囲する接地導体と、中心導体と接地導体の間に形成され、後端側で中心導体と接続する一方、先端側では中心導体から離間し、かつ接地導体と絶縁される筒状の第2中心導体と、中心導体の先端部側面に形成された突状の放電電極部を備え、中心導体と第2中心導体を用いて構成される電磁波共振構造により放電電極部の電位を昇圧させて、放電電極部と接地導体の間で放電を生じさせる。
