Abstract

HDMI(High Definition Media Interface)를 사용하여 데이터를 전송하는 소스 기기의 데이터 송수신 방법이 개시된다. HDMI 소스 기기의 데이터 송수신 방법은, 싱크 기기가 연결되면 상기 싱크 기기로 EDID(Extended Display Identification Data) 판독 요청을 전송하는 단계; 상기 싱크 기기로부터 상기 싱크 기기의 포트 정보를 포함하는 EDID를 수신하는 단계; 상기 EDID에 기초하여 결정된 동작 파라미터 정보를 전송하는 단계; 및 HDMI를 통해 데이터를 전송하는 단계를 포함한다.
