The closure consists of two main parts - a base 1 and a stopper 2.
The base 1 consists of the outer peripheral wall 4 and a main cylinder 9, interconnected by a transverse connection 8.
On the inner side of the outer peripheral wall 4 a threaded portion 5 and a clamping ring 7 are made. On the outside of the outer peripheral wall 4 a saw-toothed portion 6 is made. To the outer peripheral wall 4 by weakened connections 24 a sealing tape 23 is attached.
The top of the main cylinder 9 is open, without a bottom and constructed in a manner allowing the cylinder 27 to be placed in it when assembling without any pressure or gaps. The exterior of the top of the cylinder 9 is with a formed threaded portion 10, under which the ring 1 1 with a triangular section is made.
The inner side of the top of the main cylinder 9 is formed as cylindrical surfaces 12 and 13 of different diameter separated by flange 18 and fulfilled with a precise geometry.
The lower part of the main cylinder 9 is composed of an intermediate bracelet 33 with a sealing ring 34, a cup-shaped body 14 with a sealing ring 17 and a circular connection 15 which provides the foundation 1 as one inseparable unit. In the lower part of the main cylinder 9 four openings 16 are cut out.
The plug 2 is a monolithic cup-shaped plastic body and comprises a bottom 19, an outer peripheral wall 20 and a cylinder 27. On the inside of the outer peripheral wall 20 a threaded portion 21 is made and the outer part 22 is
notched. At the end of the outer peripheral wall 20, by means of weakened connections 26 a sealing tape 25 is attached.
On the outside of the cylinder 27 a convex ring 28 is made.
In an assembled state a cavity for the necessary volume of liquid in the cap is formed.
In another embodiment, in the top of the main cylinder 9 of the base 1 , in the area of the thread 10 two diametrically disposed slits 33 are made each of them forming a pawl with a board 34.
In another embodiment, the inner surface of the main cylinder 9 of the base 1 has a shaped diametral groove 29.
In another embodiment, the inner side of the transverse connection 8 of the base member 1 a sealing ring 35 is made.
In another embodiment, the inner side of the bottom 19 of the plug 2 a sealing ring 32 is made. In another embodiment, on the outer side of the cylinder 27 two cams 30 are made, passing into counter nibs 31. In another embodiment, the outer side of the cylinder 27 of the plug 2 is made stepwise with different diameters.
APPLICATION (USE) OF THE INVENTION
The invention is used for storing two types of liquid products in bottles. In this case cylinder 27 functions as a container for the concentrate that is prefilled. Upon opening of the cap it is mixed with the liquid in the bottle, with the result that the drink is prepared for use. This is done in several stages. Filling of the cylinder 27 and assembly of the cap. The cylinder 27 is in position with its opening upwards, it is charged with the necessary volume of liquid after which the base 2 is placed bottom up.
An axial force and a torque needed to guarantee closure of two parts is rendered on it. A test for leaks is made. The so closed cap is ready to use in a certain way of existing standard equipment for bottling. Bottling with the assembled cap.
Bottling is done on standard bottling lines. Assembled cap with full cylinder 27 is placed on the neck of the bottle. The capping head of the bottling line covers the cap and applies an axial pressure to the rotation, whereby the assembled cap moves down the neck, overcoming the force of the clamping ring 23, screwed on to the thread of the bottle, overcomes the radial pressure of the sealing ring 7, until contacting the forehead of the bottle at the bottom side of the base 1 and the sealing ring 34 or 35 covers diametrically the neck of the bottle. The sealing ring 17 provides tightness. Open a bottle closed with a cap. Upon first opening of the bottle, the outer peripheral wall 20 of the plug 2 is gripped by hand, unscrewed at about one revolution, whereby the cylinder 27 is rotated and moved upwards along the axis of the bottle. With this drive the slotted holes 16 are open, the fluid from the cylinder 27 is poured into the bottle, which is shaken for mixing and stirring (homogenization) of the two liquids. With the displacement of the cylinder 27 axially upwards, the ring 28 falls into the diametrical channel 29 of the inner surface of the main cylinder 9, which indicates the time for shaking the bottle. The next turning and pulling the stopper 2 opens the bottle and it can be sipped. Turning the base 1 with one hand and with the other holding the bottle unscrews the cap from the bottle breaking the bridges 24 and the sealing strip 23 is separated from the base 1. The presence of jagged section 6 helps the cap to hold on without scrolling in the closing head of the bottling line. The retaining rings 7 fasten the cap tightly to the bottle. The ring 1 serves in the first opening of the cap to tear the sealing tape 25 and to signal that the bottle is opened.
The cylindrical surfaces 12 and 13 of different diameters provide sealing tightness of the cap.
Outer side 22 of the outer peripheral wall 20 is made knurled to provide a tighter grip with the hand and easier non-slip unscrewing of the cap.
Boards 34 provide interacting with the counter nibs 31 one-way opening of the cap from the bottle. The sealing rings 32 and 35 in the closed bottle are tensioned and deformed, thereby preventing fluid leakage.
