Abstract

La présente invention concerne un système de transfert de couple et de limitation de couple, une technologie et des applications associées. La présente invention consiste à proposer des systèmes de limitation de couple améliorés qui utilisent des anneaux de tolérance permettant de réguler la transmission de puissance entre un arbre de puissance absorbée unique et un ou plusieurs arbres de puissance développée, qui peuvent protéger l'équipement mécanique et les transmissions contre tout dommage dû à une surcharge mécanique. En ce qui concerne les différentiels de véhicules à moteur, la présente invention peut régler la différentiation entre deux arbres de puissance développée, ou entraîner des arbres en créant un frottement à l'intérieur dudit différentiel et limier le glissement ou la différentiation "non souhaitable" entre les roues, susceptible d'intervenir lorsqu'une roue est soumise à une situation de faible adhérence, créant un différentiel à glissement limité.
