Description

A WASHER COMPRISING A CLEANING AGENT DISPENSER
The present invention relates to a washer comprising a cleaning agent dispenser.
Flushing units are required in order to efficiently flush the cleaning agents transferred into the housing with water in washers like washing machines and laundry washing and drying machine. Spraying water from over the cleaning agent dispenser is not sufficient and the cleaning agents such as detergent, softener, etc. not mixed into the wash water efficiently may form dirt inside the detergent housing. Cleaning agents that harden by drying may cause generation of undesired bad odors by accelerating the formation of bacteria. In an efficient system, the cleaning agents transferred into the housing are required to be mixed into the wash water so as not to leave any residues on the base of the housing.
In the Patent Application No. WO2013098037, a washing machine having an auxiliary water conduit disposed at the side wall of the housing is disclosed.
The aim of the present invention is the realization of a washer wherein the cleaning agents are efficiently mixed into the wash water.
The washer realized in order to attain the aim of the present invention, explicated in the first claim and the respective claims thereof, comprises an auxiliary flushing unit that is situated on the side wall of the housing wherein the cleaning agent dispenser is placed and that extends in the movement direction of the dispenser.
In the washer of the present invention, the auxiliary flushing unit disposed on the side wall of the housing flushes the cleaning agents on the base of the housing to be delivered to the tub with water and cleans the base of the housing by assisting the main flushing unit. By means of the water sprayed from the auxiliary flushing unit in a pressurized manner, the cleaning agents are prevented from accumulating in the housing.
In an embodiment of the present invention, the auxiliary flushing unit comprises a channel disposed on the side wall of the housing and more than one headpiece that opens into the housing inside the channel. The headpieces enable the water to be equally distributed and to move in the desired direction.
In a derivative of this embodiment, one edge of the channel is open and a lid that covers the channel is provided. By means of the channel not being closed and having a lid that covers the channel, the maintenance personnel can easily perform operations in case of clogging.
In an embodiment of the present invention, headpieces that are arranged consecutively along the channel are provided.
In an embodiment of the present invention, the headpieces are configured so as to narrow towards the inside of the housing. By means of the said form of the headpieces, the pressure and the flushing effectiveness of the water are increased.
In a derivative of this embodiment, the cross-sections of the headpieces are rectangular and the bases thereof remain stationary and the edge heights decrease towards the inside of the housing. The headpieces have a right trapezoid shape when viewed sideways.
In an embodiment of the present invention, a barrier is disposed at the inlet of the lid forming the auxiliary flushing unit. By means of the barrier, almost same amount of water is enabled to flow from all the headpieces by guiding the water.
In an embodiment of the present invention, the auxiliary flushing unit disposed on the side wall of the housing is configured to be suitable to the curved structure of the base of the housing. Thus, directing the water becomes easier and the effectiveness of the process of flushing with water is increased.
In an embodiment of the present invention, the auxiliary flushing unit extends all along on the side wall of the housing. Thus, a much wider area is washed with water without leaving any blind spots and the cleaning agents are prevented from accumulating and forming an unfavorable sight by drying inside the housing.
In an embodiment of the present invention, the auxiliary flushing unit is fed via the water conduit that feeds the main flushing unit. Thus, a process of double-sided flushing with water is performed and the cleaning agents are mixed into the wash water without being wasted and leaving any residues inside the housing.
By means of the auxiliary flushing unit used in the washer of the present invention, the cleaning agents are effectively mixed into the wash water and cleaning agent accumulation inside the housing is prevented. The auxiliary flushing unit that sprays water to the points whereto the main flushing unit cannot deliver water does not leave any blind spot and effective hygiene is provided by preventing the user from encountering any cleaning agent residues in the housing when he/she dislodges the dispenser. By means of the form of the headpieces used in the design of the auxiliary flushing unit and the barrier disposed at the inlet of the auxiliary flushing unit, the speed of the water is increased and the base of the housing is enabled to be effectively washed.
