Abstract

The shoe comprises a sole (4) and at least one adaptable upper (8), the adaptable upper (8) comprising at least one upper portion (24, 44, 60) mounted sliding along slides (22) provided on the sole (4).

Description

 Adaptable shoe

 The present invention relates to the field of shoes, and in particular a shoe adaptable depending on the circumstances.

 A shoe includes a sole and a shank. The sole forms the lower part of the shoe, designed to be placed under the foot and to interpose between the foot and the ground. The rod forms the upper part of the shoe, designed to go over the foot and to dress the foot.

 A "closed" stem includes at least one end, covering the toes, and quarters covering the back region of the foot (or tarsus), which includes the heel. A closed stem optionally includes a slap covering the forefoot (or metatarsal). A slap and a tip extending the slap together form a vamp. The stem optionally comprises a heel at the heel level.

 An "open" rod is open at the front, leaving the toes uncovered, and / or open at the back, revealing the rear region of the foot, including the heel.

 A stem closed at the front and open at the rear includes for example a tip and a slap covering the toes and the forefoot, the heel being uncovered. An open stem at the front and back includes for example only a slab covering the forefoot, toes and heel being uncovered.

 It is possible to provide a modular shoe, suitable to be worn in different ways depending on the circumstances.

 FR2904909A1 discloses a shoe comprising a sole and a rod made of a single piece and provided with slots for the passage of the foot to wear the shoe in different ways.

 WO2008 / 131487A1 discloses a flip-type shoe comprising a sole and a rod comprising a Y-shaped flange and provided with a front panel for protecting the toes foldable on the flange, two collapsible quarters on the sole and an equally folding heel on the sole.

 One of the aims of the invention is to provide a modular shoe that is practical and easy to use.

 For this purpose, the invention provides a shoe comprising a sole and at least one adaptable rod, the adaptable rod comprising at least one portion of rod mounted sliding along slides provided on the sole.

According to particular embodiments, the shoe comprises one or more of the following features, taken separately or in any technically possible combination: at least a portion of the sliding rod is adapted to pass above the forefoot region or around the rear region of the foot;

 - the adaptable rod is closed at the front and rear, open at the front and closed at the rear, closed at the front and open at the rear, or open at the front and at the back ;

 The shoe 2 illustrated in FIGS. 1 and 2 comprises a sole 4, a fixed rod 6 and an adaptable rod 8.

 The sole 4 forms the lower part of the shoe 2, which is below the foot and is interposed between the foot and the ground.

 The sole 4 extends longitudinally between a rear end 4A, support of the heel and a front end 4B, support of the toes.

 The sole 4 has two lateral edges, more specifically an internal lateral edge 10 and an external lateral edge 12. The internal lateral edge 10 is the lateral edge of the sole 4 which is adjacent to the other shoe when the user wears a pair of shoes, and the outer side edge 12 is the side edge opposite to the other shoe.

 A rod is the upper part of the shoe, which passes over the foot, and allows in particular to hold the shoe on the foot.

 The shoe 2 comprises a fixed rod 6 and an adaptable rod 8.

The sole 4 and the main stem 6 thus form a "tong".

Other types of fixed rods are conceivable. In a variant, the fixed rod consists of a entredoigt.  The adaptable rod 8 comprises at least one portion of sliding rod adapted to cover a region of the corresponding foot and slidably mounted on the slides 22 of the sole 4, so as to selectively cover or discover the region of the foot corresponding to the stem portion sliding due to the sliding of the rod portion relative to the sole 4.

 Each sliding rod portion slides longitudinally along the sole 4. The sole 4 remains motionless as a whole during the sliding of each sliding rod portion.

 The adaptable rod 8 preferably includes a forward slideable stem portion adapted to pass over the forefoot.

 The adaptable rod 8 is here open at the front and at the rear. It consists here of a slap 24 clean to cover the forefoot leaving the toes and the back region of the foot uncovered.

 The shoe 2 of Figures 5 and 6 differs from that of Figures 1 and 2 in that the adaptable rod 8 comprises a tip 44 extending the slap 24 forward to cover the toes in unfolded configuration of the rod 8 (Figure 6) . The slap 24 and the end 44 are slidably received in the sliders 22.

 The shoe 2 comprises a fixing member for the removable attachment of the front edge 28 of the adaptable rod 8 to the front end 4B of the sole 4, in unfolded configuration of the adaptable rod 8 (Figure 6).

 The fixing member is here a strip 48 disposed at the front end 4B of the sole 4 so as to pinch the front edge 28 of the adaptable rod 8 between the strip 48 and the sole 4. The strip 48 is elastically to be manually spaced from the sole 4 to insert the front edge 28 between the sole 4 and the band 48, and released to pinch the leading edge 28 between the sole 4 and the band 48.

In the folded configuration of the adaptable rod 8 (FIG. 5), the front edge 28 is raised and defines a front opening 32 for the passage of the toes.  In a variant, the sole 4 comprises a fixing notch formed in the sole 4 at its front end 4B, preferably on its upper face 4C, for the insertion of the front edge of the end 44 and its removable attachment on the sole 4.

 The shoe 2 of Figures 7 and 8 differs from that of Figures 5 and 6 in that the adaptable rod 8 is closed at the rear. The adaptable rod 8 comprises two quarters 50 extending the slap 24 rearwardly so as to surround the rear region of the foot passing behind the heel.

 The two quarters 50 are provided along their adjacent rearmost edges 52 with removable fasteners to connect the two quarters 50 to each other. The fastening elements are for example of the type with loops and hooks, known under the trade name VELCRO®.

 In variants, the rearmost edges 52 of the neighborhoods are mutually fixed permanently or continuously extend to one another. In this case, the rear ends of the quarters 50 are not slidably received in the slides 22.

 Optionally, the sole 4 comprises at its front end 4B a housing 54 adapted to receive the adaptable rod 8 slid forward of the sole 4 and folded (Figure 8). The slides 22 open into the housing 54.

 The housing 54 opens here on the front edge 49 behind the band 48. In a variant, the housing opens on the upper face 4C of the sole 4.

 To retract the adaptable rod 8 in the housing 54, the user spreads the band 48 to open the housing 54, separates the two quarters 50, slides the adaptable rod 8 along the two rails 22 to the front end 4B of the soleplate 4, folds the adaptable rod 8 and inserts it into the housing 54, then replaces the strip 48 to close the housing 54.

 To deploy the adaptable rod 8, the user performs the reverse operations. More specifically, the user spreads the band 48 to open the housing 54, out the adaptable rod housing 8, slides the adaptable rod 8 along the two rails 22 from the front to the back of the sole 4, fixed the quarters 50 one on the other, and replace the band 48.

The shoe 2 of FIGS. 9 and 10 differs from that of FIGS. 4 and 5 in that it does not have a fixed rod 6, and in that the adaptable rod 8 comprises a fixed rod portion and at least one sliding rod portion. . Alternatively, the adaptable rod 8 is slidable and does not include a fixed rod, for example in the case of an adaptable rod 8 with high elastic capacity allowing it to slide and retract on itself.  The sole 4 is here provided with a notch 62 (Figure 9) formed in the upper face 4C of the sole 4 at its front end 4B, for insertion and removable attachment of the tip 44 deployed (Figure 10).

 Optionally, as illustrated in Figures 9 and 10, the adaptable rod 8 comprises a rear flap 64 and a front flap 66 integral with the slap 24 and adapted to be folded over the rear extension of slap 60 and the end 44 when they are folded against the slam 24. The flaps 64, 66 are fixed on the slab 24 removably, either freely or for example by means of snap fasteners 68. The adaptable rod slides relative to the sole which remains fixed as a whole, without sliding a portion of the sole relative to another part of the sole.
