Abstract

【課題】 グリセリンからアクリル酸を一段反応により高収率で製造することができる、少なくともタングステン、バナジウム、ニオブおよび酸素で構成される複合金属酸化物触媒と、その製造方法を提供する。また当該発明の触媒を用いたグリセリンからアクリル酸の製造方法を提供する。 【解決手段】 グリセリンからアクリル酸を製造するために使用する、少なくともタングステン、バナジウム、ニオブおよび酸素で構成される複合金属酸化物触媒。少なくともタングステン、ニオブ及びバナジウムを有する化合物を水と混合して得られた混合液を、水熱合成によって固形分を得て、該固形分を焼成することを特徴とする当該発明の複合金属酸化物触媒の製造方法と、その触媒を用いたグリセリンからアクリル酸の製造方法の提供。
