Abstract
The invention relates to a planetary gear unit (P) for a steering system, having a ring gear (10) and a sun gear(20) extending centrally therein, wherein the ring gear (10) and the sun gear (20) are rotatably mounted with respect to one another, and having planetary gears (30...30") which are on the one hand in engagement with the sun gear (20) and on the other hand in engagement with the ring gear (10), and of which the axes of rotation (31...31") are connected to one another by means of a web (40) for joint movement, characterised in that, seen in the direction of viewing the central axis (11) of the ring gear (10), the axis of rotation (31...31") of at least one of the planetary gears (30...30") has a position offset, wherein this axis of rotation (31...31") is disposed offset from an ideal angular spacing relative to the axes of rotation (31...31") of the respectively adjacent planetary gears (31...31").
