Abstract

The invention proceeds from a tool coupling device for receiving a power tool parting device, in particular a power tool parting device in the form of a closed system, having at least one tool holding unit (14) which has at least one tool holding element (16) which is mounted in a rotatable manner about a movement axis (18) of the tool holding element (16), said movement axis (18) extending at least substantially perpendicularly to a clamping plane of the tool holding element (16). It is proposed that the tool holding element (16) is mounted in a rotatable manner, at least starting from a tool fixing position of the tool holding element (16), about the movement axis (18) of the tool holding element (16) into a tool coupling position of the tool holding element (16) through an angular range which has an angular dimension smaller than 360°.
