- BACKGROUND At present, there are more and more applications on mobile terminals, and more and more colorful, and the time for users to use mobile terminals is getting longer and longer, and the power consumption problem of mobile terminals has become very prominent. How to make users use it for a longer period of time has become an important issue for mobile terminal manufacturers to consider.
- the data service can be disconnected after a black screen for a period of time, for example, the black line is disconnected after 30 minutes to reduce the power consumption of the mobile terminal.
- a black screen it takes a long time to disconnect the data service, so the power consumption is still relatively high.
- the data service for scenes such as reading e-books, it is necessary to keep the screen bright. Since there is no black screen, regardless of whether there is data traffic, the data service will always be turned on, and the success rate will be high.
- a method for reducing power consumption of a mobile terminal including:
- the determining whether the data connection is required according to the usage of the data service by the user includes:
- the data connection of the mobile terminal is disconnected.
- Another possible implementation manner includes:
- the data connection of the mobile terminal is established when it is determined that the mobile terminal needs to use a data connection according to the usage of the data service by the user.
- the method further includes:
- the browsing time is a time when the user browses the amount of the text content that has been browsed
- the data connection of the mobile terminal is established when the time required for the user to browse the text content that has not been browsed is less than the set time value.
- the determining whether the data connection is currently required according to the usage of the data service by the user includes:
- disconnecting the data connection of the mobile terminal includes:
- the current service of the user is a page browsing service, or a text input service; or, when the user enables a network-independent application in the data service; or, when the traffic of the IP data packet is zero within the set time, disconnect The data connection of the mobile terminal.

- Step 12 The mobile terminal disconnects the data connection of the mobile terminal when it is determined that the data connection is not currently needed.
- the mobile terminal determines whether the data connection needs to be used at present: the mobile terminal determines the current usage of the data service, that is, the application related to the real-time monitoring data service, and determines whether the current service is needed according to the running condition of the application related to the data service. Use a data connection. According to the operation of the application related to the data service, it can be more objective and timely to know whether the mobile terminal needs to use the data connection to reduce the power consumption of the mobile terminal.
- a user downloads a large amount of text content, a user browses a business, a text input service, or When performing services that are not related to the data connection, you can indicate that you do not need to use the data connection, and then you can disconnect the data connection.

- the method may further include:
- Step 13 The mobile terminal determines whether it is necessary to use the data connection according to the usage of the data service by the user;
- Step 14 The mobile terminal establishes a data connection of the mobile terminal when it is determined that the mobile terminal needs to use a data connection.
- the mobile terminal estimates the time required for the unbrowsed text content according to the browsing speed of the user, and when the time is less than the set threshold, it can be determined that the user is about to browse.
- the user needs to upload to the network, for example, the mobile terminal detects that the user enables uploading or sending, or the user needs to use a network connection, for example, the mobile terminal detects that the user enables the sending application in the microblog service.
- the data connection is disconnected, and the data connection is disconnected after waiting for a black screen for a period of time. Disconnect the data connection and reduce the power consumption of the mobile terminal.
- Step 31 A user downloads text content through a mobile terminal.
- Step 32 The mobile terminal determines whether the length of the downloaded text content exceeds a preset length threshold. If yes, go to step 33, otherwise go to step 34.
- the name of the downloaded webpage has a name of webview.
- the webview has an interface named getContentHeight.
- the height of the text content can be obtained through the getContentHeight interface.
- the attribute is used to record the length of the display area, and the length of the display area can be obtained from the attribute.
- You can set the threshold of a screen number For example, if it is set to 10, when the calculated number of screens exceeds 10, that is, you need to browse at least 10 screens to finish reading, it means that the length of the downloaded text content exceeds the preset.
- the length is wide, which means that no data service is currently needed.
- Step 33 The mobile terminal disconnects the data connection.
- the data service connection can be disconnected by disconnecting the RRC connection to reduce power consumption.
- Step 34 The mobile terminal maintains a data connection.
- Step 35 The mobile terminal determines the time required for the unbrowsed text content in the downloaded text content, and determines whether the time is less than the preset time width. Value, if yes, go to step 36, otherwise go to step 37.
- the mobile terminal can obtain the browsing speed of the user. For example, the mobile terminal can determine the browsing speed according to the number of text content that the user has browsed in a certain period of time. According to the unbrowsed text content and the browsing speed, the required time can be calculated. . For example, the mobile terminal may determine the text content before the user has turned the page as the browsed text content, and determine the text content that has not turned the page as the unbrowsed text content, and the mobile terminal records the page every time the page is turned. At the corresponding time point, the mobile terminal can determine the browsing speed according to the time difference between two pages and the amount of text content of each displayed page. It can be understood that the determined browsing speed is the estimated browsing speed. For example, if the page that has been paged is an M page, the time required is tl, and the page that is not paged is N pages, the time required for unbrowsed text content is t X N tl/M.
- Step 36 The mobile terminal reestablishes the data connection.

- the mobile terminal can determine whether the current service is a service that does not require a data connection according to the specific service content. For example, when the current service is a page browsing service or a text input service, the mobile terminal can determine that the current service is A business that does not require a data connection. Or,
- the mobile terminal can judge according to the IP packet traffic in the set time. For example, when the IP packet traffic of the mobile terminal in the set time (such as the last few seconds) is 0, it can be determined that the current service does not need data. Connected business.
- the mobile terminal may determine that the currently performed service is a page browsing service according to the following manner: After the network side sends the indication information indicating that the webpage has been downloaded, the mobile terminal may determine that the user is performing the page browsing service. Or the mobile terminal can determine the current application according to the current application identifier, and can further determine the service corresponding to the current application. For example, the mobile terminal determines, according to the application identifier, that the current application is a browser or other browsing application. When the program is in progress, it can be known that the current business is a page browsing service. Or,
- the mobile terminal determines that the current application is an application for text input according to the application identifier, it may determine that the current service performed by the user is a text input service.
- Step 42 The mobile terminal disconnects the data connection.
- Step 43 The mobile terminal maintains a data connection.
