Abstract

A dispenser for a roll of sheet material of a pre-determined axial length. The dispenser having a body and a mount for mounting a roll within a region defined by the body, the mount comprising first and second mounting members pivotable relative to each other to define a loading position and an operative position. The mount is biased to the loading position. In the loading position, the first mounting member is angled to define a space between the first mounting member and a location corresponding to the position of the second mounting member larger than a pre-determined axial length. In the operative position, the first mounting member is angled to define a space between the mounting members of the pre- determined axial length. In use, insertion of a roll of a pre-determined length pivots the first mounting member from the loading position to the operative position so as to mount the roll in the dispenser.
