Abstract

Verfahren und Vorrichtung zur ortsaufgelösten Druckmessung entlang eines Druckbereiches, wobei erfindungsgemäß vorgeschlagen wird, dass mithilfe einer, innerhalb einer rohrförmigen Umhüllung (6) in Längsrichtung der Umhüllung (6) verlaufenden Glasfaser (11) umfassend einen Glasfaserkern (11''), einen Glasfasermantel (11'), sowie eine äußere Schutzschicht (16), auf einen Längenabschnitt der entlang des Druckbereiches (15) angeordneten, rohrförmigen Umhüllung (6) isotrop wirkender Druck in eine asymmetrische Druckbelastung auf den, innerhalb des Längenabschnittes liegenden Bereich des Glasfasermantels (11') umgewandelt wird, wobei mithilfe einer Reflexionsmessung entlang der Glasfaser (11) die durch die asymmetrische Druckbelastung bewirkte Doppelbrechung in diesem Längenabschnitt detektiert und aus der so ermittelten, asymmetrischen Druckbelastung der auf den Längenabschnitt wirkende Druck ermittelt wird. Mithilfe der Erfindung ist es möglich, entlang der Glasfaser (11) eine ortsaufgelöste Druckmessung durchzuführen, und somit auf kostengünstige Weise den Druckverlauf entlang der im Druckbereich (15) angeordneten, rohrförmigen Umhüllung (6) zu bestimmen.
