Abstract
The invention relates to the field of technology of the electronic labels in proximity reading (such as RFID or NFC) matched to the process of the digital signature with asymmetric cryptography that uses certificates issued and controlled by a Certification Authority to create an anti-counterfeiting system. It consists in embedding to the original products proximity reading labels containing a pair of asymmetric keys (public and private) and a document of guaranteed authenticity and integrity, whose hash is computed for the issuance of the certificate of digital signature inserted inside the label on request duly signed by the private key and lodged to a recognized Certification Authority. Another advantage from adopting this anti-counterfeiting system is the possibility to suspend or revoke the certificate contained within the labels at any time and in any place, thus making them no longer valid. This allows you to control, even remotely, the consignments which, by way of example but not exhaustive, have been reported as stolen or lost, or other similar situations. Through this system you can also return various information about products, such as materials used for the manufacture, warnings for washing, creation date, purchaser's name and so on. The proximity reading of the labels and the subsequent verification of the products can be carried out using any instrument equipped with Near Field Communication (NFC) reader.
