Abstract
The invention refers to an aeolian turbine with horizontal axis, used to convert the wind's aeolian energy into mechanical energy, which is then transmitted, through an axle, to the shaft of an electric generator. The turbine, according to the invention, is made up of a support frame for the palettes, support that includes a central axle (3) onto which two pairs of discs are mounted (4, 5; 6,7); two parallel rings (1, 2) with an axis that corresponds to the axis (a1, a2) of the central axle (3); spokes (8) secured onto these rings, connecting the rings (1, 2) to corresponding pairs of discs (4, 5; 6, 7); trapezoidal palettes (10) with twisted bases that are secured with the small base to the central axle (3) through small plates (9), and with the large base twisted at an angle (A) to the interior side of the rings (1, 2); the rotation movement of the turbine rotor (R) composed of the central axle (3), palettes (10), and their support, under the action of the wind, is ensured by a horizontal bearing (LO), through the axle (11) to the electric generator (G); while the rotation movement of the rotor (R) that is made of the central axle (3), palettes (10) and their support, under the action of wind, is ensured by a horizontal bearing (LO) through an axle (11) to an electric generator; and the aligning to the wind direction is ensured by a curved console (12) that connects the horizontal bearing (LO) or the turbine to the axle (13) of the vertical bearing (LV), so that the vertical axis (c1, c2) of this vertical bearing (LV) is situated opposite the axis (b1, b2) that vertically crosses the center of the turbine rotor (R).
