Abstract

The invention relates to a method for machining a surface (2), comprising the steps of: • a) providing the surface (2) for machining; • b) disposing at a determined distance from the surface (2) a light source (1) which is configured to emit an annular light beam (3); • c) the light source (1) emitting the light beam (3) in the direction of the surface (21), wherein the annular light beam (3) causes an annular wave (6) displacing inwardly in the outer face (5) of the surface (2) facing toward the light source, this wave (6) coming together in a centre thereof, thus forming a peak (7) for the purpose of removing a particle from the surface (2). • The invention further relates to a surface machined with this method.
