Description

[Title established by the ISA under Rule 37.2] THUMB AND FINGER STALLS FOR USE WITH ELECTRONIC TOUCH SCREENS
The invention relates to thumb and finger stalls, worn to prevent fingerprints and smudges, from being left behind on an electronic touchscreen device surface.
The drawings illustrate the stalls worn on the right hand. What is illustrated for the right hand also applies to the left hand.
Figure 1, is a view showing a stall worn on the thumb and a stall worn on the index finger of the right hand
1.1 The pad of the thumb, towards the tip, is the area of impact with the electronic device surface.
1.2 An ultrasonic weld or stitching follows the nail walls and nail around the tip, away from the palm of the thumb (distal end).
1.3 Two layers of fabric can exist on the Intermediate phalange.
Figure 2, is a modified finger stall to accommodate long fingernails
2.1 A buttonhole type slit at the fingertip to enable long nails to slide through the opening.

Claims (4)

  1. Worn to prevent fingerprints and smudges from being left behind on an electronic touchscreen device surface.
  2. A durable but thin stretch-fabric garment, comprising of a single layer palm, to ensure tactility and dexterity for improved precision.
  3. Flexing or bending the thumb while apparel is worn will not disturb the natural contours of the palm surface.
  4. Stalls can be worn in any desired combination on some, or all fingers.
