Abstract
The invention relates to a temperature sensor (4, 24, 51) for arranging in a pipe, comprising a housing body (14, 34, 54) and a housing top (15, 35, 55) in which a temperature probe, particularly a resistance thermometer or a thermal element (5, 25), is arranged, and which is particularly designed to be rotationally symmetrical, said housing top (15, 35, 55) comprising an end face (12, 32, 52) with a central point (M), the progression of the end face (12, 32, 52) to the central point (M) in the radial direction reaching a point (P) from which an increase follows a positive gradient, and the distance (t) of point (P) to the central point (M) in the longitudinal axial direction being greater than the wall thickness (u) of the housing top (15, 35, 55) along the longitudinal axis (A) at the central point (M) of said temperature sensor (4, 24, 51). The invention also relates to a flow-meter which comprises the temperature sensor described.
