Abstract
Une nouvelle forme de distraction est fournie à un utilisateur d'un jeu qui peut facilement et intuitivement contrôler d'autres utilisateurs enregistrés en tant que ses amis. Le procédé de fourniture d'un service de réseau social dans un jeu en ligne selon un mode de réalisation de la présente invention comprend les étapes consistant à : utiliser le serveur d'un jeu en ligne, qui fournit le service de réseau social, pour sélectionner une liste d'autres utilisateurs qui sont enregistrés sur un site portail de jeux, qui est un site qui peut fournir au moins une possibilité de jeu à des utilisateurs se connectant par le biais d'un réseau, et qui sont définis en tant qu'amis de l'utilisateur d'après une base de données qui gère des informations sur les utilisateurs ; catégoriser les autres utilisateurs présents dans la liste sélectionnée dans chaque groupe correspondant à un ou plusieurs jeux selon le fait que chaque jeu est utilisé ou non ; définir une zone à allouer à chaque groupe sur un écran afin d'afficher une liste d'autres utilisateurs ; et commander l'affichage d'icônes d'utilisateur de sorte que des informations d'état sur l'utilisation d'un jeu par les autres utilisateurs catégorisés dans des groupes correspondant à chaque région puissent être contrôlées pour chaque région définie.
