Description
DESCRIPTION
ACCESS SYSTEM INDEPENDENT OF LOCATION/PLACE TECHNICAL FIELD
The present invention is related to a system developed in order to enable to access information from almost everywhere and to use all the software, applications and operating systems via smart phones without requiring any client architecture (ThinClient, PC, Notebook and Tablet etc.).
STATE OF THE ART
The structure where two or more computers gather and communicate under a certain protocol is called computer network. The computer networks have been initiated in order to share the computer sources and object, and have been transformed into communication, share, cooperation and joint study. For example, a user in an office can use the sources on the network via the PC on her/his table and thus, an interface independent of the computer of the user is provided for the user. Each PC included in the computer network has a hardware comprising a computer case, monitor, keyboard and mouse, and separate license costs are required to be paid for all of the applications installed on the PCs. In addition, separate security software is required to be installed on each computer, each of them is to be updated and maintenance-repair operations have to be performed frequently. Several technologies have been developed in order to eliminate said disadvantages. Thin clients may be given as an example to said technologies. "Thin client" enables all the data and applications to be stored and function on the server, and eliminates the situation that the terminal to be used by the user on the desktop has to comprise CD driver, hard disc, floppy disk driver or cooling system. However, a thin client is needed for each user and therefore, the desktop is prevented from being simplified in desired manner. Moreover, thin clients do not enable wireless accesses such as GSM, SIM and Wireless and can only be used at indoor places.
In conclusion, all the above mentioned problems have made it necessary to make innovations in the related technical field.
OBJECTS OF THE INVENTION
The present invention is related to an access system from anywhere developed in order to eliminate the abovementioned disadvantages and offer new advantages in the related technical field.
The main object of the present invention is to disclose an access system independent of location/place in order to enable information access from anywhere without requiring any client architecture.
Another object of the present invention is to disclose an access system in order to enable information access with minimum hardware and thus, to decrease the costs and provide saving on location. In order to achieve all the objects mentioned above and to be understood from the detailed description below, the present invention is related to a platform-free access system comprising a data repository where data is stored, a virtual desktop determined with respect to the user needs, a virtual server farm providing the infrastructure required for the configuration of the applications and a platform based on the principle of cloud architecture. Accordingly, the characteristic of said access system is that it comprises virtual desktop and mobile device programmed in order to enable to access to the virtual applications and at least one management hardware that is made to communicate with the mobile device wirelessly and enables the user to manage the virtual desktop and the applications. A preferred embodiment of the present invention is characterized in comprising software added on the smart mobile phones in order to enable the mobile devices to access to the cloud and transfer the virtual desktop and applications to the monitor.
Another preferred embodiment of the present invention is characterized in that it can be connected by means of mobile device via internet cloud wirelessly in indoor places in the cloud where virtual desktop and applications are included, and via GSM cloud in the outdoor places.
Another preferred embodiment of the present invention is characterized in that it comprises dedicated firewall software developed for the mobile phones provided in the cloud in order to ensure the security of the user data.
In an alternative embodiment of the present invention, said mobile device is mobile smart phone.
In an alternative embodiment of the present invention, said management hardware comprises monitor, keyboard and mouse.
In an alternative embodiment of the present invention, said management hardware is a touchscreen structure performing the functions of monitor, keyboard and mouse in one structure. DESCRIPTION OF THE FIGURES OF THE PRESENT INVENTION

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PRESENT INVENTION In this detailed description, the novelty according to the present invention is described only for the subject to be understood better without any limiting effects by way of examples. Accordingly, a system enabling information access by means of a mobile device (5) in both indoor and outdoor places without requiring any client architecture is described in the following description and figures.
Said access system independent of location/place (10) is based on the principle of cloud architecture. The cloud architecture is an information model where the sources that can be
scaled dynamically and are generally virtualized are offered as service through the Internet (8). In a more detailed description, all the sources such as operating system, required software programs, documents etc. are not stored in the personal computer of the user, but on the servers that can be accessed through Internet (8) in the cloud architecture. Accordingly, the system according to the present invention comprises a data pool (1 ) positioned in the data center and a virtual server farm (2) connected with the data pool (1). The operating system of the virtual server system (2) provides the platform necessary for the configuration of the application and desktop virtualization infrastructure. However, the data pool (1) enables the application data and the discs required for virtual server (2) to be stored on a common point.
In the system according to the present invention, the user only needs a monitor, a keyboard and a mouse (6) in terms of hardware. Said keyboard, monitor and mouse (6) have the wireless connection features such as WiFi and RFID and is made to communicate with a mobile device (5). The user accesses to the information stored, as well as software and all the applications installed, by means of said smart mobile phones (5). A private software/protocol is prepared in order to enable the smart mobile phones (5) to access to the virtual desktop and virtual applications (3) in the cloud (8).
In accordance with the above mentioned descriptions, the system according to the present invention is created as follows. The data pool (1) is positioned in a data center. Server virtualization platform is created on the physical server farm connected to the data pool (1).
On said platform, the operating system and applications desired to be included therein are virtualized. Thanks to virtualized applications, virtual desktop configurations (profile and descriptions private for the user (4)) determined with respect to the user needs are created. The software created on the mobile device (5) in order to provide access to the virtual desktop and virtual applications (3) is executed as add-on and extended to the other mobile devices.
The mobile device is communicated with desired monitor, keyboard and mouse wirelessly.
Moreover, firewall (7) developed for mobile accesses, is to be created in the cloud (8).
Connection is realized via "access points" and wireless access to the cloud (8) in indoor places. However, in outdoor places without WiFi, communication with cloud (8) is realized by means of GSM service provider (9). Therefore, the user can access to her/his private user profile in both indoor and outdoor places.
Thanks to said system, no component (PC, notebook, thin client etc.) apart from the mobile device (5) belonging to the user is needed in the indoor places. The cost of the hardware is notably decreased. Moreover, the necessity of cabling required for the hardware is eliminated.
The system according to the present invention can be used by all GSM users, call centers, office workers, remote office workers, independent firms and public institutions having VDI and APP virtualization infrastructure, security directorates and armed forces, sales/marketing persons and technical assistance persons.
The protection scope of the present invention is described in the attached claims and cannot be limited with the descriptions made for exemplary purposes in said detailed descriptions, because it is clear that an expert in the technical field can disclose similar embodiment in line with the above mentioned descriptions without drifting away from the main theme of the present invention.
