Abstract
A hierarchical database is disclosed, made in the form of a linked data structure, comprising blocks of header, relations, domain names and attributes as components, located respectively at the entry point, root, nodes and leaves of the search tree, tuples comprising a hierarchical multiset of attributes with variable composition, and binary fragments. Binary fragments comprising identifiers, data types IDs and codes of database, relations, domain names, and attributes. A hierarchical database control method is also disclosed, based on versioned execution of write, change, delete transactions, and compression of data in the mode of competitive access to the database, as well as on recovery of completeness and consistency of data after abnormal DB termination without use of data backup.
