The invention relates to a sieve frame (1, 51) for an ultrasonic sieve (10, 50), comprising an upper face for fastening a sieving mesh (6, 56), a lower face opposite the upper face, and an opening (20, 60) surrounded by the sieve frame (1, 51), said sieve frame (1, 51) having a groove (9, 59) that extends around the opening (20, 60), such that the part of the sieve frame (1, 51) lying between the edge (22, 62) of the groove (9, 59) facing the opening (20, 60) and the opening (20, 60) forms a cloth waveguide (3, 53) which is at least partly decoupled from the rest (23, 63) of the sieve frame (1, 51) with regard to the transmission of ultrasound.
