Description

Equipment for Rails Fixation
Technical Field
The technical solution relates to the equipment for fixation of rails and parts of switches on the trails for railway, suburban, underground and tram applications.
Contemporary State of the Art
There are known many different solutions for regulation of the gauge of the way and realisation of supports in assemblies for rails fixation.
For example the patent application US 20060095467 (A1 ) uses the system of fixation, when the support is without guiding, e.g. through a groove.
In patent HK 20020106931 there is used a support equipped with serrated projections on its bottom part and such projections are also placed on the upper side of the base plate in the field of contact area with the support.
Another solution is known from the invention application WO 2009/087191 (A). According to this file, the support is equipped with projections on the bottom side as well as on the lateral face. The base plate is equipped with serrated projections in the contact field below the support.
Nature of the Technical Solution
The aim of the technical solution is to create an equipment for fixation of rails, allowing reaching more positions of fixation on the railroad tie or fixed carriage way and to regulate in this way the gauge of the way, while keeping the simplest possible construction solutions, allowing application on hitherto existing base plates. This can be reached to a significant level in a device for rail fixation according to this technical solution, which is based mainly on the fact that it contains the base plate for placement and fixation of a rail equipped on its sides with holes leading to asymmetrically placed (in relation to their axes of symmetry) dish-shaped recessions to fit the supports equipped with - in relation to their axes of symmetry - holes for railroad tie screws, while the holes in the base plate have such inside diameter that they allow passage of the railroad tie screws through the hole of the relevant support in its different positions inside of the relevant dish-shaped recession, so as to reach various eccentricities of the fixed rail towards its basic position reached by turning of the whole base plate as well as supports inside of the dish-shaped recession of the base plate in 180°.
From the point of view of setting it is advantageous for the dish-shaped recession to extend across from the bottom to the edge.
List of Figures in Drawings
The technical solution will be explained in detail using the drawing, showing in Fig. 1 - 4 four possibilities of setting the position of the rail, in Fig. 5 the side view of the support and in Fig. 6 the ground plan of the support.
Examples of Technical Solution
The equipment according to the technical solution shown in Fig. 1 contains the base plate 1 with ribs 2, between which there is placed the rail 3 placed on a flexible bed 4. On both sides of the base plate 1 there is done a hole 5 for the railway tie screws 6. The eccentricity of holes 5 towards the axis of symmetry is different, bigger on one side compared to the other, which allows two positions of the base plate 1. The holes 5 lead to the dish-shaped recessions 7 asymmetrically placed in relation to the axis of symmetry of the base plate 1 and they receive the supports 8. The dish-shaped recessions 7 extend across from the bottom to the edge. The support 8 tightly fits the dish-shaped recession 7 - in given case, the dish-shaped recession 7 and the support 8 are of rectangular shape with bevelled walls 9. In relation to its axes of symmetry, the support 8 is equipped with asymmetrically placed holes 10 for railroad tie screws 6. The holes 5 in the base plate 1 have such inside diameter that they allow passage of the railroad tie screw 6 through the hole 10 of the relevant support 8 in its different positions inside of the relevant dish-shaped recession 7, so as to reach various eccentricities of the fixed rail towards its basic position reached by turning of the whole base plate 1 as well as supports 8 inside of the dish-shaped recession of the base plate in 180°. The hole 10 is placed eccentrically on support 8, see Fig. 5 and 6, which allows two positions of the support 8 in the dish-shaped recession 7. Fig. 1 shows the base plate 1 in the position with initial eccentricity of the rail 3. In case of the base plate 1 in Fig. 2 to be turned as in Fig. 3 and it turns in holes 5 of the support 8 in 180°, the eccentricity changes to the value of +4 mm. By consequent turning of the base plate 1 from the position in Fig. 2 to the position according to Fig. 4, the resulting eccentricity increases to -8 mm. Other positions can be reached by a change of eccentricity of the hole 10 in support 8, which allows full covering of the needs of railway trails and parts of switches.
Industrial Applicability
The equipment according to this technical solution is designed for regulation of the gauge of the way.
