Abstract

무선 통신 시스템에서 MBMS(multimedia broadcast/multicast service) 서비스 영역(service area) 정보를 획득하는 방법 및 장치가 제공된다. 단말(UE; user equipment)은 제1 반송파 주파수(carrier frequency)에서 제공되는 MBMS 서비스에 대응되는 적어도 하나의 제1 MBMS 서비스 영역 식별자(SAI; service area identity)를 제1 셀로부터 방송(broadcast)되는 시스템 정보로부터 획득한다. 단말은 상기 제1 반송파 주파수에 이웃하며 MBMS 서비스를 제공하는 적어도 하나의 제2 반송파 주파수 및 상기 적어도 하나의 제2 반송파 주파수에서 제공되는 MBMS 서비스에 대응되는 적어도 하나의 제2 MBMS 서비스 영역 식별자를 상기 시스템 정보로부터 획득한다.
