Abstract

The present invention relates to a vertical wind-power generating apparatus having movable blades. The vertical wind-power generating apparatus comprises a vertical shaft unit; a blade unit which applies rotating force generated by wind force to the shaft unit, which penetrates through the center of the shaft unit so as to be laterally movable in a straight line, and which has a rack arranged in the lengthwise direction; a wind flow-linked unit, wherein a pair of inner gears are arranged opposite one another in a predetermined portion of an inner surface of the wind flow-linked unit, and which rotates independently from the shaft unit in conjunction with the variation in flow direction such that the pair of inner gears can always be located at a forward-to-backward converting point and a backward-to-forward converting point of the blade unit; and a pair of blade-driving units arranged at either side of the linear moving path of the blade unit so as to revolve together with the blade unit, which convert the rotating force generated by the pair of the inner gears into a linear motion of the rack so as to linearly move the blade unit to the side opposite the shaft unit when the blade unit moves toward the blade unit.
