Abstract

A thermally insulating body, in particular for a domestic appliance, comprises at least two wall panels (3, 4) which each have an outer face, an inner face and a narrow face. The narrow face of a first panel faces the second panel. An inner wall plate (5, 6) is fitted on the inner face of each panel, said inner wall plate delimiting a groove (15) which is adjacent to the narrow face of the panel. A connecting profile (18) engages in the grooves.
