Definitions
- the invention relates to a bag with a tubular bag body whose at least one end region has a bottom fold, so that the bag has a substantially rectangular bottom.
- the tubular body of such a bag is usually formed from a tubular round material or a flat material connected to a tube at the longitudinal edges.
- a rough classification of such bags is made by the distinction in pillow and box shape.
- a pillow form of sacks usually arises by assembling the floors with a textile seam or a weld.
- the present invention is concerned with box-shaped bags in which at least one end has a bottom fold so that the bag has a substantially rectangular bottom. If both ends of the bag have a bottom fold, one speaks of box bags. For sacks, which correspond to the bag on one side and the box bag on the other side, one speaks of a quasi box shape.
- the present invention includes both box sacks and quasi box sacks.
- Typical bags have a capacity of 10, 25, 50, 100, 500 and 1000 kg.
- natural fiber fabrics such as jute, paper, plastic films and plastic fabrics may be used as the materials of manufacture, natural fiber fabric bags having been replaced by paper, plastic film and plastic fabric bags in recent decades because they are less expensive and have technical advantages.
- Paper does not have high strength, which often makes the bags multi-layered, resulting in high material consumption.
- Paper sacks are not waterproof and are not chemically resistant in some cases.
- An advantage of the paper sacks is that the sack can easily be brought into the box shape and can be produced with cheap adhesives.
- Plastic films usually have no high strength and therefore usually require large material thicknesses and are also usually less dimensionally stable.
- Plastic film bags are heat sensitive and can be difficult to glue to form a box forming bag. For bags made of plastic films, therefore, the pillow shape is preferred at which weld seams occur.
- Sacks of plastic fabric made of monoaxially stretched ribbons have the highest strength and are dimensionally stable.
- the fabric consists of monoaxially stretched polymer, in particular polyolefin or polypropylene tapes. These tapes are usually prepared by stretching polymer, in particular polyolefin or polypropylene films, four to ten times, whereby the molecular chains are aligned in the ribbon longitudinal direction and have in these directions about six to ten times the strength of the original film.
- the ribbon width is usually about 1.5 to 10 mm, the thickness 20 to 80 ⁇ .
- a coating of melt of preferably the same material as the tapes can be applied to the fabric on one or two sides.
- a separate cover layer is usually applied to the outside of the floor, which is connected in a flat manner with the bottom fold, taking into account the poor adhesiveness of the individual folded tabs of the bottom fold.
- a hot air welding process can be used, in which the facing coated surfaces of the bottom fold and the cover sheet are heated to plasticization by hot air and the bag body and the cover sheet are then pressed against each other and cooled.
- Even with paper bags and plastic film bags, such a separate cover layer can be used to increase the stability of the soil.
- sacks of the type mentioned above which were sealed with the described techniques, can not be opened without destruction without further ado.
- the present invention therefore aims to provide a bag with which the above-mentioned problems can be avoided.
- the bag of the type mentioned is inventively further developed so that at least two mutually at least partially overlapping layers of the soil for closing the soil in the region of their overlap detachably connected to each other, in particular sewn.
- the closing of the bag thus takes place by means of a detachable connection. Bonding of at least two overlapping layers of the soil, so that the opening of the sack makes no destruction of the bag material required.
- the training can be made such that the at least two mutually at least partially overlapping layers of folded from opposite sides of the bag body flaps of the bottom fold are formed.
- An alternative embodiment provides that a separate cover layer is applied to an outer side of the bottom produced by the bottom fold, wherein the at least two mutually at least partially overlapping layers of at least two mutually partially overlapping cover sheets of the cover layer are formed. Due to the fact that the cover layer according to the invention is not formed by a single cover sheet which is surface-connected to the bag bottom, but by at least two cover sheets partially overlapping one another, which are preferably connected flat to the bag bottom, the possibility is created of covering the two cover sheets in the region the overlap to connect so that they can be easily separated from each other. Separating the topsheets from each other in the area of the overlap will allow the bottom fold to be easily opened, providing access to the interior of the bag.
- the detachable connection of the two cover sheets in the region of their overlap preferably takes place in that the two cover sheets are sewn together.
- a particularly preferred embodiment provides in this context that the seam is executed with a chain stitch with preferably at least one end of the seam loose thread end.
- Such a chain stitch is characterized in that the seam can be solved by tightening the loose thread end.
- Such easy-to-solve textile seams are also referred to as "easy open" seams.
- pulling aid in particular has a tear strip or a Aufrissband.
- Another advantage of the invention is the ability to provide a simple way a handle.
- the invention is developed in such a way that the overlapping of the two layers goes beyond the connection point, in particular the seam, and at least one of the layers in the outgoing region has a handle or forms it. If, as corresponds to a preferred development, the connection point, in particular seam is arranged centrally with respect to the bottom surface, the carrying of the bag is substantially facilitated by means of the handle.
- this region of the cover sheet is at a distance from the bottom edge ends.
- a grab handle can also be attached by sewing a separate material layer provided with a grab handle during the stitching of the two layers mentioned.
- the cover layer formed by the at least two partially overlapping cover sheets is welded or glued to the bottom of the bag, the cover sheets preferably consisting of the same material as the bag body.
- the thread used for the seam is heat resistant, in particular a heat resistance of at least 200 ° C, preferably at least 400 ° C, more preferably at least 600 ° C.
- the thread used for the seam has a coating, impregnation or the like which prevents welding or bonding to the bottom of the bag.
- the thread can be covered with a tape or other intermediate layer, which also damage, welding, or sticking of the thread is prevented.
- a significant advantage of the present invention is to be seen in the fact that the attachment of the modified cover layer according to the invention with the help of the same machines is possible, which were used for the attachment of a conventional cover layer.
- the procedure is preferably such that initially the cover layer is produced separately from the bag body by the at least two cover sheets being arranged partially overlapping and releasably connected to each other in the region of the overlap, in particular sewn.
- the cover layer produced in this way is e.g. subsequently connected in a conventional manner with the bottom folding and in particular welded or glued, wherein, as already mentioned, this can be done with the aid of conventional machines, for example using a hot air welding process.

- a bag body is denoted by 1
- the bottom 2 is formed by bottom folding for producing a box-shaped bag.
- the bottom fold has two tabs 3 folded over from the two opposite broad sides of the bag body 1 and two tabs 4 folded over from the opposite narrow sides of the bag body 1.
- the two tabs 3 overlap each other and are connected to each other in the overlapping area by means of a seam 8.
- a seal of the bag succeeds when dense seams 5, in particular welds are applied.
- the release of the seam 8 then causes the bottom to open to form a funnel-shaped outlet.
- FIGS. 2, 3 and 4 An alternative embodiment of the sack bottom is shown in FIGS. 2, 3 and 4. With the bottom 2 formed by the tabs 3 and 4, a cover layer is connected in this embodiment, which covers substantially the entire floor and thereby holds the individual tabs 3 and 4 together and closes the floor.
- a bag with a bottom provided with a separate covering layer is described, for example, in WO 95/30598 A1 and, unlike the embodiment according to FIG. 1, does not necessarily require overlapping or separate joining together of the two tabs 3.
- the covering layer is made of two cover sheets 6 and 7, partially overlapping each other, whose surfaces facing the bottom of the bag 2 are connected to the tabs 3 and 4 of the bottom fold. As can be seen in FIG.
- the two cover sheets 6 and 7 have an overlapping area a, in which the two cover sheets 6 and 7 are connected to one another by means of a seam 8.
- the seam 8 extends over the entire width of the bottom 2.
- the region of the overlapping part 9 of the cover sheet 6, which rests loosely on the cover sheet 7, extends beyond the seam 8 a serving as a handle recess 10.
- the seam 8 for which purpose the seam, for example, as a chain stitch can be formed so that the seam can be achieved by tightening the free, loose end 11 of the thread with a single hand movement preferably over the entire length of the seam.
- the two cover sheets 6 and 7 are thereby separated from each other and can be opened according to the arrows 12, whereby the flat sheets connected to the cover sheets 6 and 7 and in particular welded tabs 3 of the bottom fold are also opened according to the arrows 12, thereby creating access to the bag interior becomes.
- a modified embodiment of the bag bottom is shown, in which the overlapping regions 9 of both cover sheets 6 and 7 are perpendicular to the bottom surface 2 and are sewn together with the seam 8.
- the overlapping regions 9 of both cover sheets 6 and 7 have a handle 10.
- the tabs 3 of the bottom fold in the embodiments according to FIGS. 2 to 6, as already mentioned, do not have to overlap one another.
- the bottom fold thus has an open area and the formation may then preferably be made such that the seam with which the two cover sheets are sewn together extends over the open area of the floor, so over the seam perforations or a possible embla- ge a venting of the bag can take place.
