Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Strahlungsdetektor (100; 101), aufweisend einen Szintillator (120) zum Erzeugen einer elektromagnetischen Strahlung (202) unter Einwirkung einer einfallenden Strahlung (200), eine Photokathode (130; 131; 132) zum Erzeugen von Elektronen (204) unter Einwirkung der von dem Szintillator (120) erzeugten elektromagnetischen Strahlung (202), eine Mikrokanalplatte (140; 141; 142; 143; 144) mit einer Mehrzahl an Kanälen (145; 155; 158) zum Vervielfachen der von der Photokathode (130; 131; 132) erzeugten Elektronen (204), und eine Erfassungseinrichtung (160) zum Erfassen der mit der Mikrokanalplatte (140; 141; 142; 143; 144) vervielfachten Elektronen (204). Die Erfindung betrifft des Weiteren ein bildgebendes System (110) umfassend einen solchen Strahlungsdetektor (100; 101).
