Abstract

La présente invention se rapporte à un procédé et à un système adaptés pour mettre en œuvre une fonction de sous-conférence au moyen d'un serveur d'application (AS, Application Server). Le procédé selon l'invention comprend les étapes suivantes : sur la base d'une demande transmise par l'AS et portant sur la création d'une conférence principale et sur l'ajout de membres à la conférence, un serveur multimédia (MS, Media Server) crée une conférence principale et ajoute des membres à la conférence principale, ces membres devenant ainsi des membres de la conférence principale ; ensuite, quand l'un des membres de la conférence principale, agissant en tant qu'initiateur d'une sous-conférence, initie auprès du MS, et via l'AS, une demande portant sur la création d'une sous-conférence indépendante de la conférence principale, le MS établit une sous-conférence sur la base de la demande portant sur la création d'une sous-conférence indépendante de la conférence principale et il fait en sorte que l'initiateur de la sous-conférence quitte la conférence principale pour venir s'ajouter à la sous-conférence ; sur la base d'une notification transmise par l'AS et indiquant que d'autres membres de la conférence principale sont ajoutés à la sous-conférence de sorte à agir en tant que d'autres membres de la sous-conférence, le MS fait en sorte que les autres membres de la conférence principale quittent la conférence principale pour venir s'ajouter à la sous-conférence. Dans la solution technique de la présente invention, la sous-conférence et la conférence principale n'ont pas d'influence l'une sur l'autre, les membres participant à la conférence peuvent passer de façon aléatoire de la conférence principale à la sous-conférence, et vice versa, et l'AS gère des attributs audio et des attributs vidéo des membres de la conférence.
