- VAP1 connects the WLAN common UE to the ACs through VLAN 1.
- the VAP2 connects the identity network UE to the ASR through VLAN 2.
- Step 3 The ASR is aware of the identity of the UE, and obtains the location information of the UE from the neighboring ACs by using a protocol agreed by the two parties, such as an SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol) or other protocol.
- SNMP Simple Network Management Protocol
- the PDU is an SNMP message of Get or GetNext (Get Next) or GetBulk (Get Batch) operation, and indicates the identifier of the UE in the PDU, and then goes to the adjacent AC. Get information on which AP the UE is accessing.
- the PDU is set to the ID in the Variable bindings in GetNext.
- the MAC of the UE as the query key value, the value of the location field to be obtained is set to 0.
