Abstract
A method for producing a thermally insulating molded article comprises the following steps: a) providing a hollow mold (1); b) filling a free-flowing porous material (10) into the hollow mold (1); c) solidifying the free-flowing porous material (10) in the hollow mold (1); d) evacuating and sealing the hollow mold (1). The invention further relates to a thermally insulating molded article comprising a hollow mold (1) and a core made of porous material (10) solidified in the hollow mold.
