Abstract

This invention relates to an apparatus for disinfecting liquids, which comprises: a system that emits ultraviolet light, which is in turn made up of, at least, a longitudinal holder (1); at least a printed circuit strip (2) positioned longitudinally in the holder; and at least an ultraviolet light LED (3) positioned on the printed circuit strip (2); a transparent, rigid or flexible tube (4) containing the ultraviolet light-emitting system; at least a source of electricity (5) supplying power to the ultraviolet light-emitting system; at least a stopper (6) hermetically sealing each open end of the transparent tube (4); and means for transmitting the electricity from the power source (5) to the ultraviolet light-emitting system. The invention also relates to a container of liquids that comprises the apparatus for disinfecting liquids described above.
