Definitions
- the present invention relates to the field of communications technologies, and in particular, to an uplink method and apparatus for MBMS service reception status. Background technique
- MBMS Multimedia Broadcast Multicast Service
- LTE Long Term Evolution
- MBMS can be provided on both the MBMS-dedicated frequency layer and the frequency layer shared with non-MBMS services.
- the LTE cell supporting MBMS may be an MBMS dedicated cell or an MBMS/unicast mixed cell.
- the MBMS service can perform single cell transmission or multi-cell transmission. Multi-cell transmission of MBMS needs to support MBSFN
- Multicast/Broadcast over Single-Frequency Network Multicast/Broadcast Single Frequency Network
- the so-called MBSFN refers to synchronous transmission in multiple cells at the same frequency at the same time. Using this transmission method can save frequency resources and improve spectrum utilization. This technique requires that the same content of multiple cells be simultaneously transmitted. In this way, a UE (User Equipment, Terminal) receiver can treat multiple MBSFN cells as one large cell. Therefore, the terminal will not only be subject to inter-cell interference transmitted by neighboring cells, but will also benefit from the superposition of signals from multiple MBSFN cells. Both the MBMS dedicated cell and the MBMS/unicast hybrid cell can adopt the MBSFN transmission mode. In addition, if advanced terminal receiver technology is used, the time difference of multipath propagation can be solved, thereby eliminating intra-cell interference. The diversity effect brought by this multi-cell co-frequency transmission can also be solved. Issues such as coverage of blind spots, enhance the reliability of reception, and improve coverage.
- the MBMS multi-cell transmission technology includes the following technical features:
- Multicast Control Channel is mapped on MCH (Multicast Channel) for PTM (Point To Multipoint) transmission.
- MCH Multicast Channel
- PTM Point To Multipoint
- the MBSFN synchronization area can be semi-statically configured, for example, by 0&M (Operation and Maintenance).
- the logical channels related to MBMS transmission mainly include: BCCH (Broadcast Control Channel), MCCH and MTCH.
- BCCH Broadcast Control Channel
- MCCH Mobile Broadcast Control Channel
- MTCH Mobile Broadcast Control Channel
- the main functions of each channel are as follows: (1) BCCH, used by the network to broadcast system information to the terminal.
- the BCCH For MBMS, the BCCH carries configuration information of the MCCH, such as: MCCH repetition period, start radio frame offset, subframe position, MCCH modification period, MCCH modification notification indication mode, and MCC signaling MCS (Modulation Coding Scheme, Modulation coding mode) format, etc., so that the terminal can find the resource location of the MCCH, and the BCCH does not carry the specific MBMS service information.
- configuration information of the MCCH such as: MCCH repetition period, start radio frame offset, subframe position, MCCH modification period, MCCH modification notification indication mode, and MCC signaling MCS (Modulation Coding Scheme, Modulation coding mode) format, etc.
- the MCCH is a point-to-multipoint downlink channel used by the network to transmit MBMS-related control information in the MBSFN area to the terminal.
- An MCCH can correspond to one or more MTCHs, that is, it can carry control information of multiple MTCHs.
- the MCCH may include: subframe allocation and subframe allocation repetition period of the MBSFN area, PMCH (Physical Multicast Channel) or MCH configuration information, such as: MBMS session (MBMS session) information, data MCS format Configuration, PMCH subframe position, scheduling period, and so on.
- PMCH Physical Multicast Channel
- MCH configuration information such as: MBMS session (MBMS session) information, data MCS format Configuration, PMCH subframe position, scheduling period, and so on.
- MTCH is a point-to-multipoint downlink channel used by the network to send specific MBMS service data to the terminal.
- the network uses the BCCH to indicate the MCCH configuration information to the terminal, and then uses the MCCH to provide (P) MCH information to the terminal, and the terminal reads the specific service on the (P) MCH.
- MSI MTCH Scheduling Information; MTCH

Description
LTE
( Multicast/Broadcast over Single-Frequency Network,
( 4 )MBSFN同步区域可以半静态配置,如:通过 0&M( Operation and Maintenance, 运行和维修)进行配置。

当基站接收到的是 MCE直接发送的包含 MBMS业务接收状态上 报指示的消息时, 基站通知该基站下的各终端上报自身相对应的 MBMS 业务接收状态, 并在完成对该基站下的各终端返回的自身相 对应的 MBMS业务接收状态信息的汇总后,直接向 MCE发送包含汇 总后的 MBMS业务接收状态信息的消息;
当基站接收到的是 MCE发送的包含 MBMS业务接收状态上报指 示和上报周期信息的消息时,基站在上报周期信息所对应的每个上报 周期中, 通知该基站下的各终端上报自身相对应的 MBMS业务接收 状态, 并在完成对该基站下的各终端返回的自身相对应的 MBMS业 务接收状态信息的汇总后,向 MCE发送包含汇总后的 MBMS业务接 收状态信息的消息;
如果判断结果为是, 执行步骤 S602;
»> MBMS Service Identity M
> MBMS Service Identity M
