Abstract

The remote-control chain comprises the following means: • at least one authorized mobile telephone (3) having a remote-control function based on radio waves; • a remote-control emulator EMUT, this emulator comprising the following means: - a receiver (6) capable of receiving the radio waves originating from the remote-control function of the mobile telephones; - an interface INTB which decodes and manages the network between the remote-control emulator EMUT and the mobile telephone or telephones (3); - a decoder DECOD receiving the information arising from the interface INTB and generating a digital control signal, coded or otherwise; and - an interface INTC which transmits the digital control signal generated by the decoder DECOD to at least one control interface (4) for the installation or to the receiver of the original remote control; and • a setup for control of operation of at least one functional unit (2) of the installation. This invention is of interest to manufacturers of remote-control hardware.
