Abstract

The present invention relates to an apparatus for concentrating solar energy, comprising a first transparent substrate, an adhesive layer, and a Fresnel lens. The present invention also relates to a solar module comprising a lens unit including the apparatus for concentrating solar energy. The apparatus for concentrating solar energy of the present invention presents a lower risk of fire, improved efficiency in solar energy capture, and improved durability as compared to conventional apparatuses for concentrating solar energy. In addition, the apparatus for concentrating solar energy of the present invention can be directly installed in the location that requires the apparatus, thus reducing a loss of energy, and eliminates the necessity of installing basic infrastructures such as power transmission facilities, thus reducing costs.
